Ok guys, almost all of them are up I've got about 12 more till its a complete set of purchasable ones. One thing to note before you flip out at the price in FVC. These weapons and armor are very very very expensive to make. Were talking 8p for 1 composite bar and you need 5 of them steep. I did my best to make the cost and reward on par without throwing the progression totally out the window. These items will show up as gold. Each one will cost: 128 FVC
I have always wanted to know... say I have the Plat to buy most of the ingredients needed off of the AH for one of these items... Say I spent 45 Plat for the one you say costs 5 x 8P items and the crafter spends a little more on the other pieces. Am I still charged 128 credits for the item? Does it affect what the Crafter gets any? Next, Thanks for fixing who to send stuff to on the Marketplace tab after the home page :)
I think I can answer that one and ask Foghladha a followup at the same time! Ideally, if you are providing some(or all) of the ingredients then I would think the crafter should put an order in to the Marketplace so that you can earn some contribution for it (which then lowers the cost of the item). Along those same lines, are there any plans on including the new epic refined materials (the tempered orichalcum bars, infinite essences, etc) so that we can contribute those to the guild instead of waiting for the need?
The ones I saw are on the request crafting materials already. Never saw the new planar dust so until I figure out how and where and how often it drops I can't gauge the cost.
I have my 4 toons crafting up a bit. I will work on getting 2 miners able to craft the bars. and my 2 foragers to make the logs etc. I suggest all gathers try and do the 1 per day item and contribute it. But I would like to cordinate with others on the 5 Plaque reciepes. I think we should try and not double hit each other on itmes say i have 5 armor smith i may like the plate items,etc but if anothe rguild bought that then we should have me by chain pieces etc? Is there going to be aan ongoing thread where we can post who has what on 1.4 so we can help the family out better? Just some thoughts please let me know what you all like to see and and such. Also same thing for making Purple Augments. I like to make sure we not double dipping on same recipes.
I picked up the recipe for Cuirass of the Stalwart (the warrior tanking breastplate piece) before the servers came down after 1.4.
I also have two 300 miners, two outfitters, a runecrafter, two butchers all of which I plan to train the new materials for their dailies. However, I should point out that each of the materials will take a catalytic essence (I think you get 3 or 4 of them from a minor catalyst if you are an apothecary). Personally, I'm planning on making as many as I can to trade/donate to the guild.

I'm eyeballing that 2hander for warrior. weaponsmith 3/5 plaques for that new 2hander. armorsmith 3/5 undecidied.

Being both a crafter and a requester of some of the new items, I was curious on how the numbers work out so I did a bit of number crunching which may help others also.
For example if my numbers are right, a crafter may gain ~900 vault contribution or 45 family vault credits for taking an order. It ~700 resources or ~7 family vault credits for one of the new 20hr cooldown items though.
If the person who is helping with the mats puts in up 6 material requests for the new items, the crafter will still net their artisan points and extra vault contribution.
Anyway, just thought i would write out the calculations for anyone else who was wondering how it balances out since in most cases both parties are supplying mats for the new items now.

Remember 900 Contribution + 400 Artisan which = 1,300/20 = 65 Family Vault Credits not 45. 45 is just for the contribution side. You get: 1 Family Vault Credit Per 20 Contribution 1 Family Vault Credit Per 20 Family Honor Points (Valor, Fellowship, Lore, Discovery, Artisan) for 6 Epic Materials it would cost you 42 Family Vault Credits which would leave you with 23 Family Vault Credits Net Gain.
Just curious, have our members started to use the marketplace to trade/receive the 20hr timer crafting mats? I've been seeing requests in guild chat for trades and was just wondering what the best route is to go for now until the market calms down from the newness. I think ultimately the marketplace is the way to go, but I see that some items requests are currently queuing up, the person you may find to trade with is not necessarily the top person in the queue for the particular item right now. Thoughts?
