Volunteering for the Defiant-side events

Pardon my missing this information if it's already posted somewhere, but this newcomer is still wandering around the Gaiscioch halls with her mouth hanging open, trying to take it all in.

I'm very interested in joining in on the Defiant-side events, although I'm a lowbie over there, too (only 30--I'm a very slow leveler--which has something to do with my OCD-ness and uncontrollable urge to climb up and jump off of every high place I see). I have been part of getting server-wide events going, though, on the old, old, old Firiona Vie server in EQ. I'm an eventer, not a raider. :P

So grab me by the shoulders and point me in the right direction, or put me on a list, or tell me to wait a bit if it's all still in the percolating stages. But keep me in mind!

When you join us for family events, ask to be a raid assistant, so you can learn the ropes.

What's the guild name on Defiant side?

Gaiscioch na Nuada (Warriors of Nuada, Nuada being the king of the Tuatha) is our Defiant side.

To join defiant side, just /join tuatha and ask for invite.

After burning out a bit with Rift, I'm back and playing Defiant side as Zivah. I was glad to see so many people! I'm excited to start getting some good rivalries going. Come to the dark side, we have cookies!

@Kaise: Just wait once we get the duo events going things will be picking up. We've just gotta get through the season finale of Telara Saga. If we start doing both sides heavy too soon they'll say were crossrealming or something stupid like that. I want TS to end and then start working on the Cooperative raids. Once we get going you'll see a huge influx of people. We haven't told the world officially yet.

I have to say I've really enjoyed my time so far on the Defiant side. It's true I had a night when it was just me in guild chat, but usually there's a few others. Honestly it's kind of refreshing to be part of a small guild with large guild resources, it's difficult to feel like you're a real part of a group when you're just another name/class in a sea of people. I played Asheron's Call, you don't know alone until you realize there's only 100ish people total logged onto the server and easily 1/3 of those are bots. lol

I have a 50 rogue (Vansen... I'm creative with the names, aren't I?) that's languishing all by herself over on the Defiant side, but I wasn't sure how to get a guild invite on that side. I'll keep my eyes open and see if I can snag someone to invite her. :)

I just brought over my 30 Rogue Lyndelle and she joined the Defiant side. Cloudi will do the same with his level 30 when he gets a chance. Holler if you need us for anything, we can usually swap over.

I just moved my 50 Warrior Soverign over and he joined last night. Was excited to finally see other members of the family and got an invite. I also will be moving my lowbie mage Naraya as well. She likes to play with fire. :)
