Looking for progression raiding.

I feel like I have been playing this game forever been here since beta and yet I have only seen two bosses in GSB. I would like to get back into raiding at a decently fast pace. I use to be in one of WoW's top 100 world guilds and when Cata released I just needed a break from all the raiding.

As some of you know I also go by "Energetic" who is my new main. Rogue DPS or Bard.

Now here is my question..

Is there ANY room for a full time spot in one of our progression teams?

If so I would like to try and get the spot.

If not I might try to look for another guild to raid in.. as I mostly play games to raid I really don't want for it to come to the point where I have to look else where though really do love it here.

Anyway posting this here because to be honest I don't even know who raids in this guild or who to talk to!

Any time you want just send me a tell and I'll join you for whatever it is you want to do. I have a 51 sent/ rest in pur build that can heal most stuff, or I can try a raid heal build something like warden or straight pur. Just let me know what you need and I'll do what I can. I also would like to start raiding but cannot commit to the times of the other raid groups as my work schedule is not set and changes day to day. The only times I can raid is pick-up groups.

Sunni and Cloudi are often available as well. I'm a tiny bit from 50, but should be there tonight. Just yell. I can be anything (though I'm still learning this tanking thing) and Cloudi is DPS.

I'd be up for starting like an afternoon raid team too.

As far as I know, there are currently 4 groups who are raiding inside our guild/alliance. Raid leader - Progression Opaline - Johlen Nomadsoul - Johlen Tor - Letareus Bentmer - I've progressed beyond potty training. Maybe. Oh yes, raiding...we're at Hammerknell now. GSB & RoS are clear. For more information about the 3 other raid groups, I'd contact their respective raid leaders for information. As for our raid group, people come and go which is the nature of raiding. So spots come free quite regularly. I'd say in the 3 months that we've been at this, we've replaced 15-16 slots easily. That being said, if you are interested in raiding with us, you'll most likely start on the reserve list and fill in when there is a spot available. When a more permanent spot becomes available, I will always choose from those who have already filled in previously. Also, being a RP server, the progression and raiding here are more muted I believe. The raid progression thread on the Faeblight forum lists only 4 guilds who have progressed beyond the first 2 bosses of GSB on the Guardian side. Of those 2, one transferred here recently and the 2nd has not progressed in almost 2 months. In other words, there's only 3 active guilds on the Guardian side who have seen more raid content than you have seen. I know alot of people are anxious and think they are woefully behind the raiding curve, but you really are not. For the vast majority of people on Faeblight, they haven't even stepped foot in GSB or RoS. Also, I'd recommend doing Gilded Prophecy first, it's smaller sized and can be easier to find people for. Anyways, I'm always available for help when I'm on but you might need to send me several tells since I'm dumb and don't catch them all at first.

*cough* Team Powahaus 4/4 GP - you are welcome to speak to me ingame re a backup spot for our GP group on Sat at 5pm server. We usually have 1 spot free per week and currently it is for a dps cleric as Charlatan is away. We are good on mages and have a back up mage. Rogues are sometimes needed it depends who is away. Chat in game if interested or send me a mail.

Hey all this sounds great. But personally looking for a locked in spot. One that is mine. Hope that makes sense or doesn't come off wrong. :) It's totally cool if there is no room I understand and by no means wants to just barge in and take a spot.

The way it works with us is that we take new players in a casual capacity, if they enjoy playing with us and are willing to follow instructions and work with the team to down bosses, we then offer a permanent spot as and when one comes up. To offer someone an 'instant' spot would be unfair to the rest of the team because we would all prefer the chance to meet and play with a prospective member first. You are welcome to trial with us - we currently have one spot vacant for this week, class dependent. If not, that is understandable, good luck with your raiding :)

Oh no I never said I wanted an instant spot. I am looking to "apply" so say for said spot. If things work out I would like to be able to keep that spot. I just hate coming home.. logging on.. and maybe having a spot. I would love to be able to log on for a raid knowing I have a spot.
