Greetings Everyone!
So far this year we've had an awesome time with the Telara Saga! The guardians have come out in force for a lot of our events and it has been a fun fun time. I want to thank everyone who's come out and made this event a smash hit. As we grow nearer and nearer to the grand finale siege of Meridian I wanted to give you all a bit of insight as to what's coming this fall.
As you all know the Gaiscioch love throwing parties. We love to have people from all guilds and communities come and have an enjoyable time for a few hours ever week. Over the past 4 months we've run the Telara Saga event, hosted weekly Raid/Expert rift hunts, and held low level rift hunts in low level areas to help get people through the starter zones. During this fall we will be trying to take this a step further by introducing a completely new event series that is designed to bring both Guardian's and Defiant's together for one night a week as Allies.
Starting in September we will be running on this new schedule. We will continue running a public community event every Sat, Tue, & Thu @ 6PM Server Time.
The Telara Saga
Tuesdays at 6PM Server Time:
For those that missed Season 1 of the Telara Saga we will be Starting it over again on an accelerated schedule. The First Tuesday of September (9/5) will be the kickoff for this event. We will begin in Silverwood and progress across the field until we reach Freemarch. Depending on how well the Meridian Siege goes will determine if we will siege again. This season we will also have a couple groups escorting & teaching people how to get through the zone's dungeons. This event will be PvP Optional. The Gaiscioch Rift Hunt
Thursdayat 6PM Server Time:
Every Thursday the Gaiscioch Family will be holding a Raid / Expert / PvP Rift Hunt. We will have 2 separate groups running that will be comprised of multiple Raid Groups. The first will focus on Raid and Expert rifts helping to gear up people for their raiding adventures. The second group will be PvP Focused and be 100% dedicated to the PvP Rifts coming in 1.4. This event will rotate between Iron Pine Peak, Stillmoor, and Shimmersand. While in Stillmoor and Shimmersand, each group will take turns killing Akala and the Baron.
Telara's Last Stand
Saturdays at 6PM Server Time:
We introduce a new Public Community Driven Event which involves Guardians & Defiant working together to save Telara from the Invasions of the planar realms. This event which will be called "Telara's Last Stand" will take place every Saturday at 6PM Server Time and welcome both Guardian and Defiant to join together to stop Planar Invasions across Telara. As zone invasions begin we will be deploying defenders to help prevent the fall of Telara. Ventrilo will be available for all participants and this event will be 100% PvP Auto-Flag off. Those who flag will not be healed or resurrected. This event will hopefully bring our community closer and allow us to make some friends across the borders. If you are a Defiant Guild leader or just a Friendly Defiant who would be willing to help run the Porticulium Tour the first Saturday of every month for Defiants please let us know and we'd love to tie you into the event. If I do not get a Volunteer we might have to make us an Escort Force for the Defiant forces.
