Rift's Guild Spotlight shines on Gaiscioch!

"Guild Spotlight: Gaishcioch @ Faeblight Guild Spotlight: Gaishcioch Established: November, 2001 Shard: Faeblight Faction: Guardian Members: 2,000+ Since November 2001, The Gaiscioch Family (pronounced “Gosh-Kia”) has focused on creating a fun and enjoyable environment for everyone on their server in games including Dark Age of Camelot, Warhammer: Age of Reckoning and RIFT. Through frequent public community events, open raid groups, and sharing of knowledge they help all players – not just the ones who take refuge in their house. Over the last 10 years (starting in Dark Age of Camelot), the Gaiscioch clan have come to be known for their pioneering and progressive public events, the list of which is a veritable litany of RvR sieges, massive gatherings, progression raids and almost every other type of in-game event imaginable. Currently, they are working on a 22 week campaign, dubbed “The Telara Saga,” to march across Telara on their way to Meridian. During each week of the event (which has seen participation in upwards of 300 players), they cover an entire zone and actively participate in both PvE and PvP content. On “off nights” the Gaischioch host rift hunts and zone tours to help newer players learn the ropes and get access to zones and rewards they might not be able to attain on their own. According to their guild leader, Gaishcioch works hard to create a social gaming environment for all players and actively welcomes players of all skill levels and playstyles, helping new recruits get paired up with veteran sharing a similar style. When asked about the foundation of their guild their guild leader, Foghladha, had this to say: “The strength of our family comes from our unique website which rewards players for their achievements in Leadership, Fellowship, Exploration, Lore, and Artisan. The 5 paths of a Gaiscioch are historically driven from the legend of the Gaiscioch featured in Lebor Gabála Érenn, the oldest book found on Irish soil which chronicles the first people of Ireland. The original Gaiscioch where hand picked by the Tuatha De Danaan, the Celtic Gods, and featured their best fighters, most honorable leaders, greatest craftsmen, scholars & poets, and scouts. They were an elite force put together for the protection of the people. Their honor, valor, integrity, and fellowship were second to none. Any chance we can mention the high volume of raid groups we host in the guild and the 24 hour nature of membership. That way raider type people reading it will be attracted to the guild which for some of us would be welcomed :) Sometimes our posts give the impression all we do is RP and RVR! (Not that I am slamming those, but we do a lot more than that!) I am just hoping we can reflect our multi-national and multi skilled player base in our posts a little more :)
