I know a lot of us are willing to get into some endgame content, so here is our chance.
 
Everyone is welcome. Unfortunatly we wont be able to bring everyone as the number of spots is limited so make sure to get the best out of your gear/spec.

I will keep tuesdays and mondays as optional days to complete progressions
 
I will ask everyone to be ready at least 30 minutes prior to the event so we play more and wait less.
 
If you're not ready 15 minutes before start because you're either in a group or AFK or missed the invite, contact me. I cant garantee I will keep your spot so try to be ready on time.
 
If I havent heard from you 5 minutes prior to entering the raid zone, your spot will be filled.
 
If you cant make it, send me an in game mail or email (email available on my profile).
 
If you dont show up and I dont hear from you for several times, you will automatically be relocated on the waiting list and someone else will take your spot.
   
Requirements:
 
You need to be raid ready to join us, it's no big deal but you need to have at least 227 Hit/Focus.

DPS on single target should be around 700, I expect the same from healers in terms of HPS but its harder to tell since the healing you do goes according to the damage taken.

** With the new armors available in 1.4, gear shouldn't be an issue, many of us can help you meet the gear requirements. If you have any questions aboutwhat spec should be used for raids, feel free to ask me. If I cant answer your question, I will find someone who can.
 
Make sure you're all set and rdy to go, mend soul, have potions and drinks and all the enhancements you can get for weapon/armor...

We're going to use the same process Bentmer uses since I find it the best way to reward dedicated players without discrediting the more casual ones.
 
I invite each one of you to read Bentmer's post to get familiar with the loot rules.
 
Remember that we're one big family and that the goal is to establish some balance so that we improve the raid.

I welcome your post.i think it is a very good idea.Huge number of our guildies are not able to get into raids despite being raid ready and willing.this is an excellent opportunity for us. Count me in plz. i have now a tank toughness of 189.Thanks to the tanking leather drop from anrak in our last run.I can play as Dps,bard and tank.

I'd like to sign up. I usually get off work at about 3:30pm PDT, so it's going to be tight some days but I'm available every day at that time. I prefer tanking but I do have a 2hander dps role if/when needed. I'm starting to build that role into something more raid-ready, but it's something.

Will there be any weekend raids. I won't be able to make any weekday raids, as I am PST, and start times will conflict with work.

Considering the number of replies i think we will have a 10 man raid ready in very little time.Thank you nomad for taking a step to progress our brothers and sisters.I think raiding 5 days a week will give more than ample chance for all the guildies who sign up with us.This will definitely do help the reserves list as they will get adequate chance to raid and get geared up.i think if we raid as frequently as you have suggested ,our group would be ready for Hammerknell very soon.

I'd like to sign up as well. It's the middle of the day for me but I can at least do weekends. (I'd love a 21:00-23:00 PST group, but it seems a bit unlikely.) I have a 50 Rogue, sabdancer, riftstalker, and barddancer specs. Most geared for DPS, least for bard (since bard isn't affected by gear.)

All those guys who want to join nomads group but are shy as they are little lower on stats can contact me in game.i will run t2 with them to gear them up in no time.

Briin and Kriggles would like to continue raiding in Opaline/Nomadsoul's raiding group as well. Kriggles is available to raid anytime on Fridays and Saturdays. Briin is available to raid also anytime on Fridays and Saturdays (and also the occasional weekday, I'll have her post when if at all on the weekdays).

Cxtc here. I can either tank or dps. Tanking wise, I only got 152 toughness at the moment. I am available anytime after 6pm Est on Monday, Wed, Fri, Sat and Sun. Tues and Thurs I am only available after 10 pm EST.

Kriggles, since the start times are not the same, I do not believe this raid group is the same as Opaline's. I suppose we should go over lockout timers just to be safe. GSB, RoS, and GP all have a 1 week lockout timer. When you kill a boss or mini boss, you are saved to that raid ID and cannot go with a different raid for that week. The lockout is reset every Wed morning around 4 am server. So to be clear, if you go to this raid and kill a boss in GSB, then you would be unable to go with Opaline on his GSB run. Since there are multiple groups now, this is something to keep in mind so nobody locks themselves out on accident. Good luck to you guys.

Archy wishes he could join but sadly is Australian :P Can raid any day from 2am - 4pm EST if you ever switch it up. Sadly this is the exact opposite of when you run :(

Right, thanks for pointing that out Bentmer. This post isn't for Opaline's raids. Kriggles and Briin, I will wait and let you confirm if you're going with Opaline or coming with us. It's a completly new schedule, with earlier hours. As Bentmer said, you will have to be careful with the lockouts. You're locked and binded to an instance ID as soon as you kill a boss so make sure if you do, that you're not on the main roster. I will keep everyone updated with the days we're going, as I get more people registered and will post the weekly Roster every tuesday night.

Nomad! Heyas, I would love to come if you have room... I will be free pretty much any night starting July 25th (when I get back from comic con... you can be jealous now) so whenever you need me... I could do this with Scaarlet, either as melee DPS or bard support. Forewarning though, I've never ran GSB before. I'm pretty sure I could hit 227 hit by 4 server time today.

NomadSoul, I am working on getting geared up and I would like to join in the fun whenever I reach the criteria needed. I have been trying to acquire the necessary hit rating to participate, but I imagine that is not the only stat needed. What good is it to have 227 hit and have every other stat be terrible!? I am playing a Rogue - melee - Ranger/Assassin/Bladedance (Hoko's spec) ranged - Sab/Assassin/Ranger or 51 Bard

Yes Elsimer, I will try to get the GSB raid today from 4:00 to 6:00. From today also due to low atendancy, we wont be attempmting RoS and we focus mainly on GP and GSB.

I'd be interested in getting on the GSB reserve list for my Mage. I can run either a DPS build or Chloro. I can't raid on all raid nights, but am willing to fill in on the nights when I am available.

hey Nomad, Any plans to add Drowned Halls to the rotation? PTS reports say the loot is about the same grade as GP, and there should be marks towards gear...

Yes, the new 10 man has arrived and I'll add it to the rotation Currently working on it to see what are the requirements in terms of heals/dps for this instance We might start doing it, depending on the lockout timer, this weekend.

I led a Family PUG in yesterday. We got the first boss down to 10% but no further so no lockout. From all reports, it is easier than GP and drops some of the BiS gear (yes, better than GP). I wouldn't be too surprised to learn there's a week lockout though so if y'all downed a boss it'll have to wait until next week. On the bright side, I should have my new spiffy breastplate by then...

Good Job to everyone who was here yesterday for Guilded Prophecy, especially our new comers who completly stunned us with their playstyle. We had the best time in Gp so far. We will go back soon enough to get the 17% we missed on the 3rd boss on Saturday. On the meanwhile we will go into Drowned Halls today at 4:00. Elsimer, you will be Main tanking this, Nomadic, my cleric, will lead us into this new adventure. Spread the word.

Hey guys would like to get somewhere on the list, spoke with nomad earlier today and just posting about myself. Sounds like a dating site, ... well i'm Procul is the Char name Leveled mostly using MM build but have been playing a lot of bard as i run through T1 and T1 dungeons, either is fine, whatever the group needs at the time. I'm available Most weekday evenings after 3 server time except Fridays when i'm not home until at the earliest 7 server time. i am in Fla and work pretty early so can't do much past 9 server time very often need my beauty sleep. Weekends i do work some Sat. but usually home by 11 server time. And for the next 4 weeks or so i have an engagement for Sundays from 10-3 Server time. Any other time is generally good. I guess for right now the best thing is to just keep an eye on this thread and show up before event times and see whats going on. But as the group fills out would like to try to get into a regular schedule with the same raiding group. Vent name is eeers i tend to be allover the place on alts and such so if you need anything look for me there. thanks and hope to see you all around.

Hi there everyone, I spoke with Nomadsoul last night and as I told Nomad I would be interested in helping with raid content. Prior to transferring to this shard and my guild disbanding I helped clear all of GsB and we were also on farm for GsB, we also previously cleared RoS but with declining attendance we were only able to down 2/5 in RoS. I am a mage and I play storm/ele. I also have a pyro/ele spec and a 51 Archon spec. My focus currently is at 273. I also enjoy pvp and I am working towards rank 7. Hope I can help where I can and look forward to helping the guild progress :) Kilee

Just a suggestion, but after the Telara Saga finale tonight I'd like to get together a group (or more) and go from start to finish on the water epic. That's the one that starts with finishing AP (normal or expert) once. Rumor has it that there are several epic pieces as rewards along the way, and the crocnard mount (which scales to meet your highest speed mount) is the final reward. From what I understand, there is a head piece that is equivalent or roughly equivalent to the head piece at the end of the Cult Saga storyline (the Nutty Helm, otherwise known as the Rastafah Cap of Pwnage)

Just to give you all a a heads-up, I just looked at my calendar and I noticed that I'm going to have a lot of conflicts coming up this next month. I could attend the GP run on Thursday of this week, but after that I'll not be able to play much on Thursdays-Sun until sometime in Sept due to vacation time and family visiting.

for those interested, I have my parse of the final fight (the one that succeeded). I'm not going to post individual parse data because that's caused some issues in the past when the Family first started raiding. It's just not the way I think we want to roll, especially considering how many things are not taken into account in the numbers. Little things like buffs, debuffs, deaths, responsibilities. However, as a raid I think it's safe to post our numbers so we can be proud of our accomplishments as a raid team. Note that the numbers include all mobs in the fight, not just the Duke. Fight Duration: 7 minutes 52 seconds Total Damage: 3,970,606 DPS: 8,412 Total Heals: 1,273,596 HPS: 2,698

Awesome job Team!!! we're getting there, very nice performance, you all gave your best and I have no words to thank you enough. Special thumbs up to Elephantitis and Jiberish who for their first time in GP adapted so well we got 3 bosses down in no time.

Huge progress in GP yesterday, thx to all of you who were there. Unfortunatly, our attempt on DH last boss had to be reporte due to half the group missing. Since we're doing all 3 bosses in both DH and GP now, we will be doing all 6 of them in one night so we can progress and work on the 2 last bosses the other days. Its been fun running with yall, I will now stop leading raids, too many casuals makes it impossible to progress and I'm done running after ppl and getting new ppl all the time. Its time I guess for me to be a little selfish and improve my own raiding experience and get into an established group. I wish good luck to all of you who fought next to us. NS
