In the coming days I'll be removing unrefined Metal, Wood, and Hide from the list of things you can request. This will allow us to keep an extra row of each of the materials in their refined and combined format. Most of the donations we get are compressed already and things like Carmintium Ore are just too rare in the donation process to justify letting people request it and never see it filled.
I can pull down my ore request now. I just farmed for 2 days and got a stack of 30.
Well, I can farm more :) About half the requests I fill are for the unrefined stuff - if I never see a kiln I am happy. But if it is for the good of the family - then so be it.
You can donate Ore or Bars, But you can only request the Bars is what im talking about. Either way it comes is fine. I have crafters that can convert raw materials for us. The problem is im not getting raw materials as donations. I'm only getting bars which makes it impossible to fill those Ore orders.
OK - just did some more reading - and I will be sending everything to the vault anyway :)... (I've been out of town for a week, so I'm trying to catch up :(
