I am new to the guild and loving everything about it, this website is incredible!
Last night was my first guild event and I really want to thank everyone who took the time to explain some things to me that are probably second nature to most of you. IE guild banners, banner scrolls, not forgetting to loot the chest for stones, etc.
One of things that was confusing for me was Ventrilo. Specifically, I struggled to know who to follow sometimes when we split up. I understand each of our groups had a leader who was marked with a number...easy enough to follow him/her in most cases. The problem was that some of the regulars here address each other by a name other than the toon they are playing while talking in Vent. So sometimes I would hear someone say a name I didn't know followed by "my group should be over here". Not a complaint at all, it was just a bit confusing since I don't know anyone really well yet.
The leaders of last nights event (Telara Event?) were great. I hope you know that with every event like these, there are people like myself who are learning and striving to be better guildmates. I hope to one day be able to run an event and give back to the guild (the family) a portion of what I have been given so far. Keep up the great work everyone!!!
