Being the 'new kid on the block' per say, I have a couple of questions for the guilds in the Tuatha.

Soon I'm going to have several new members who are going to be hitting level 50 in The Huntsmen, so we are most likely going to be looking for opportunities to run expert rifts, expert dungeons, etc. We may have enough just within the guild to do so, but would like to include members of the Tuatha when we have open spots or want to join someelse's group.

Is the best way to get involved with the rest of the alliance to post in the Tuatha channel when we're looking for additions to join us or if we're looking for something to join in on ourselves?

Hopefully at some point there will be either an option or an addon to turn off the joining and leaving messages that show up whenever someone joins or leaves a channel (if there is already a way to do this, let me know).

From what I've gathered so far, not everyone leaves the channel in their main window and may not always see the messages that show up. So far though, I've always received a response for any questions that I've posted in the channel.

Anyway, I'm just curious on how my guild can best contribute and get involved in any pick-up type activities that may happen throughout the day.

See you online!

Gwen

I'd have them get active here on the site. All Tuatha Members have full access to everything here so they can sign up for events post in the forums, order stuff from the marketplace and family vault and can network with the groups actively running GSB/ROS/GP. The most critical thing is to come to the forums and keep active. This is where everything happens, gets planned, and people connect with each other. Tuatha channel is great for pickup stuff but the stuff that NEEDS to be planned, gets planned here. You can't pickup a GSB and expect to win ;).

I'll keep pestering them on getting their accounts setup. :) The new folks have been focusing mainly on leveling but a few have registered already. I've been copying links from the calendar here to our Facebook group page though so they are aware about the organized Tues and Thurs events. I was thinking more of what are the best ways on how to reach out when we're looking to fill slots for 5-man/group activities so we'll use the Tuatha channel for that. It is going to take the new 50s a bit of time to get ready for GSB. I would stay away from PUGing GSB too lol. :) While I'm thinking of it...is it common place on this server to organize Mathos rep grind runs? Putting together a raid group for this on Deepstrike was fairly popular when I was there as it was a good way to get Mathos rep for the chest piece/mount/belt enhant and XP for those between 45-50.

Hey Gwen, another from Deepstrike here. :) A few of us re-rolled from Deepstrike Defiant. I haven't seen any Mathos rep runs organised or advertised on this server and usually chaining CC/AP is the quickest way to get 46-50. As for the tuatha channel, I'll always take note more if someone is LFG in that channel. I usually post my LFMs in Tuatha first and then in general so yeah I think it's the best place for pickups.

For gaining Mathos rep, are folks just doing the Stillmoor dailies?
