I've posted a public event run called "Leftovers", it's an appropriate name for the particular one, and ties into the WoW raiding organization a few of us are from.

The core idea is to start a "seriously casual" weekly raid. What I mean by this is getting a group of skilled, enthusiastic players who are interested in excellent endgame play in RIFT who just don't have the time for 3 nights per week dedicated to raiding.
I'd like to see if we can start building a 20 man core group. I'm convinced there are enough folks interested that we'll be able to do it.
I've had some exploratory pugging into the 10 man shard and to Greenscale Blight. The first fight in GSB in particular would be easy stuff if we had a core of skilled Lefties and friends. We'll have to see about the rest. :)
While building up the group, I figured we might try a raid rift or 2. I'll have the mats for 1 raid rift. Probably buy the raid-rift-of the day that morning.
Background info on me and "Leftovers":
Leftovers is a still very active WoW raiding group on the WoW RP Server Silver Hand. This organization is fairly large and continues to be quite successful, recently celebrating it's 6th anniversary. I personally am a raid leader for the "Night Watch" raiding charter in that group and the guild leader of "Nu Tir", one of the larger guild on that server. (which also explains my personal time limitations, as 2 nights per week I'm raiding in Azeroth). I'm known as "Daphyd" there if you check out the site, which is here: http://leftoversraiding.org/index.php
The values and "feel" of Leftovers is a very good fit with the values of Gaiscioch, hence the participation of many of the LO group in this guild.
I envision the "LO" or "Leftovers" regular activity in Gaischioch in many ways as being what we'd call in LO a "charter" within the Gaischioch family: A "regular" subgroup of friends who meet regularly to play, but who also enjoy being a part of the larger family, and who are always open to new "regulars".
