I'm having a hard time finding anything on Gilded Prophecy. I see Unstable has a video guide for two of the bosses, but nothing else. Does anyone have any suggestions? Also, when I looked it seemed like there was some debate on whether GP was more difficult than RoS/GSB or on par or less difficult.

so GP is, according to what I can find, less gear-intensive (but more mechanic-intensive) than GSB/RoS. The guides seem to indicate tier 2 gear (so 100+ Tough/Hit/Focus) is fine as long as the two groups are good with the mechanics of each encounter - which appear to be fairly intensive. As for group composition, from what I can tell it looks like this (on average): 2 tanks 2 Healers 1 Hybrid Healer 1 Bard 1 Chloro/Archon 3 DPS so bare minimum of 2 clerics, 1 mage, 1 rogue, and 1 warrior (the other tank could be a warrior or rogue) with several spots for DPS and various hybrids. In several of the encounters, it looks like almost everyone except the two tanks should have a ranged role available (big surprise considering how Rift treats melee right?)

DPS is important on all of these boss fights due to enrage timers that kick in.

What is the lockout timer for GP? A week (reset on Wednesday morning) like the 20-mans?

Yes i believe its the same as the other 20mans. The farthest ive been in GP *with wildflower and a few other guildies* was two bosses down and third boss almost downed. (he was at 7 percent til dead)

The lockout timer is 1 week and resets at the same time as GSB and RoS. As far as raid composition, the only boss that requires 2 tanks is the first. The encounters are heavy on heals and it is recommended to bring at least 3 or 4 healers. It is not true that it is melee unfriendly. It just requires precise placement. We killed the first 3 bosses with as many as 3 melee characters including the tank. The fourth boss is significantly harder than the first 3 bosses however. There is a good gear check on him.

I'm starting to think I might've made a bad choice when I picked Warrior for my main. From what I've been able to tell, a Warrior DPS has 1-2 choices for spec (both melee dps) and require pretty exclusive gearing compared to the other classes. Oh well, I've got a cleric alt up to 45 now. In the event that the market for tanks gets oversaturated (which isn't hard to do) I'll have an alt ready relatively soon. Meanwhile, I plan to go with Wildflower to learn these encounters as best I can before I have to lead.

I think 2 healers, a hybrid healer, bard and chloro may be a little overkill in the heals department, especially if there are enrages involved. Don't worry too much about Warrior requirements, all tanks require a very different gear set for dps, but it is the same for Clerics and heals or dps. If you have fights that require a different tank and heal balance, don't be afraid to swap people (as long as you are upfront about it). It requires a lot of effort to prepare multiple raid roles (heal, dps, tank) - not just gear but the runes placed on gear, macros (wanted more macros), UI setup and also the instincts to hit the right button at the right time. It just isn't feasible at this stage to expect people to be raid ready across multiple roles. As long as you are upfront about it before you start, it shouldn't be an issue. I think the multiple roles in Rift have given a lot of people the wrong idea. It isn't just a matter of talents that makes you effective. Gearing properly for your choice, familiarity with its play and UI setup impact heavily on performance.
