sighs....
Ok, I understand the "turn the other cheek, take the high road" philosophy. But honestly, what happened to personal choices. I mean, I honestly get tired of having to be a "helper bunny, goody-two-shoes, take it on the chin" person. While I am honest, to a fault sometimes, both irl and in game, I am not the most social butterfly. I don't go out of my way to screw anyone, but catering to those who are just going to bitch no matter what I do, or waste my own time on afkers camping things, is not something I would do irl, so why the force of the issue in a game?
Sorry, but if they are afk or not picking up the item, I give them a 30 sec count. After that its too freaking bad for them. That's how I've always done it in any game, and isn't going to change now. I also think the "how you reflect on us" line can be taken too far. We are are not a fragile guild, nor an inexperienced one. Too much micro-management based on one personality type is not healthy nor warranted.
