I'm moving today from the rural community I've been living in to the city I was born in, about 250 miles up the road from here. All in all, that's a good thing, once you're past the hurdle of the move itself. I'm most definitely a "city boy", and have found many aspects of living in a town of a couple thousand folks to be less than to my liking. Not the least of which being access to the arts and culture... or even things I always took for granted, like being able to have a pizza delivered to me (I was shocked when I called the local Pizza Hut, the day I moved here, and they laughed when I asked them to deliver)... or always being able to pick any type of cuisine I wanted and get it without a two-hour drive to civilization, for that matter.
At any rate, this has all happened very suddenly, and I've not been able to make preparations for having internet access and what have you at the new place. So odds are I'll be without 'net access for several days (unless the apartment complex has wifi I can use as a stop-gap). Just wanted to let y'all know that if you don't see me for awhile, I most likely still haven't fallen off the edge of the world. :-)
