New WeaponSmith recipes

With the 1.2 patch and all it's sundry goodies came new crafting recipes. Based on what Ive seen it seems like 2 additional plaque recipes per crafting profession were added.

Black Iron Hatchet (One Hand Axe)
24.6 DPS, 41-77 damage every 2.4s
+18Str, +14Dex, +11End, +18 Phys Crit

Saint's Scepter (One Hand Mace)
19.6 DPS, 37-69 damage every 2.7s
+13 Int, +18Wis, +11End, +180 Spell Power, +19 Spell Crit

I have 3 plaques currently but have been advised not to pick up any of the old recipes except possibly Fleshreaper. I would be happy to buy any of these recipes if there were orders for any of them. Keep in mind that these are the base stats of the item - with a 300 augment you can get an additional +4 or 5 to a single stat or +2/3 for two stats. In many cases that can bring these crafted purple items on par with T1 gear (although I haven't compared since the stat bump).

A quick back-of-the-envelope look at the Saint's Scepter: Scepter + Tysumi's Treatise on Arcane Travel : I:30 W:35 E:23 SP:360 Crit:29 compare to Lightsmasher: I:27 W:35 E:19 SP:391 Crit:15 compare to Spellstaff of Raging Lightning: I:35 W:25 E:15 SP:361 Focus:55 Crit:15 The Scepter + Treatise seem like a viable alternative, especially if you don't need Focus or if you can't get a Lightsmasher (incidentally, I posted on the Faeblight forums looking for a Guardian Weaponcrafter with Lightsmasher and have not found one yet). I'm not going to order one since I'm not 50 yet, but the recipe does seem to be worthwhile.

Fog, I've claimed your order and will fill it tonight (assuming I either have or can get the augment). If I can't get the augment I'll return it to the queue for somebody else. I want my 5th crafter level! :)

Ooooh goody! I've been lamenting the seeming lack of high-end single axe recipes. Looking forward to getting hold of a couple of those one-handed axes when I eventually reach 50. Swords and Knives just aren't Dwarfy enough for old Dargron - I needs me some big intimidating axes*. *Granted, being named "Hatchet" it might not be particularly intimidating, but I hear tell there's a new appearance system that might fix that.

Fog, I can't for the life of me find anybody in the guild with the augment you requested. I've got the blue version (and based on my inquiries many others do as well) but the purple is really rare. I'm returning it to the heap for now.
