Not far from reality there Master... The truth is: sitting shortens certain postural muscles that will eventually lead to reduced blow flow, poor lymphatic drainage and muscle dysfunction. Gamers like us, or anyone who works as a desk jockey, should get up from time to time and stretch specifically the Psoas, abdominals, gluteus, pectoralis, anterior cervical/neck and the muscles in your dominant forearm/hand, not to mention...rest your eyes! Do some research and find a good/reputable Neuromuscular Massage Therapist in your area. For about $60 and an hour of your time, you too can ease some tension, fight off the grim reaper, and live to Rift for years!
Everything can kill you. We all die eventually. Might as well not waste your time.

"For about $60 and an hour of your time, you too can ease some tension..." Sounds intriguing...
I think there have been some studies indicating that slouching or reclining at a 125-135 degree angle (rather than sitting up straight at a 90 degree angle) is beneficial, too.
I'm personally considering getting a stand up computer station at work so I can help avoid this. With my laptop at home I can just play on a higher desk.
Every gamer should own a treadmill.
I do own a treadmill. (Good thing you didn't say I should use it!) :)
I game in "full sloth mode"... I have a little roll-around table for my laptop that cantilevers over the side of the bed, and I play laying down... heh heh...
Lap desk + mountain of pillows + fuzzy blankets = happy Ripley
Computer chair = new bed.
I would love to have a treadmill with my computer station attached to it! That way I can be walking AND rifting at the same time!
Alright I will also admit I play rift in bed, leaning back on a mountain of pillows, under the blankies (thats what I call blankets), and usually at night I don't even have clothes on! Naked rifting ftw.
