Updated 5/18/2011: Gilded Prophecy: New 10-Man Raid Instance

We finally got the first guy down the correct way. Great healing all around. For those that haven't seen this fight, it tests your healers more than any boss I've seen in any game. We are so close on the second boss and should get him down this week.


I am putting together a team for new 10-man content coming out with todays patch 1.2. This instance is going to be a stepping stone from T2 to T3(20-man raids). Call it T2.5 if you will. Bentmer is also putting a group together so hopefully he can add his group onto this post and we can keep a running list of people that have attended and people that would like to attend.

Please reply to this post if you would like an invite. I am not a hard-core dungeon runner but I do want to put together a solid group that runs smoothly together. Please only post if you have a decent amount of T2 gear and have a hit/focus of 200 (or very close.)

The nights we will be doing this is on Tuesday and Saturday nights at 8 EST or 5 game time. We might even mix in a Thursday night if the lockouts aren't a full week. This way we are not conflicting with the GSB runs.

Please post your toons name and what spot they would like to fill in the raid. I am looking for people that want to have fun and at the same time take their raiding seriously.

Bentmer, if you could also post your group and we can draw from the same pool of reserves. Also if everyone is fine with it we can use the same loot style rules that we do for our GSB runs. The points would be specific to the 10-Man only and not carry over to the 20-man.

One other thing I forgot to add. The 8 EST time is the time we are going to start pulling mobs, not forming the group. Be early to assure your spot or let me know ahead of time.

I would like to attend, but my hit is currently only 113 and my toughness is only 72. Maybe as I gain the gear from the new LFG Tool I'll be able to sign up eventually :-/

Pretty much what Elsimer said, except I'm currently at 101 Focus (as a Chlorolock healer).

just noticed the patch notes - I'm going to have to see what my stats are when I get home since they've buffed t1 gear as well as t2.

How long would one of these events take? I just want to point out that Tues, Sat, and Thursdays at 6pm game time are the family events. If you do these at only one hour before that might cut into the level 50 pvpers who want to come out for Telara Saga on Tuesdays. It would conflict in general with any level 50 who wanted to attend the family events and your events too.

I am just gueseing at this point but I think they would take 2-3 hours. Yes, it would cut into the Family Events, but I only offer it as another choice for those that are more into dungeon crawling.

dang - was halfway thru the Realm of the Fae tier 1 and well on my way to finishing with the bonus and all when the servers went down for 1.2001. Oh well, a few more dungeons and i'll have the required toughness and hit.

I am very interested - Mijjah, Cleric heals 50/50 sent/purifier tank heal build.

Good attempts last night guys. These fights are going to take some practice so please don't be discouraged. All I can ask is that people watch for the emotes on the second boss a little better. That fight is all about twitch reaction and is very unforgiving about mistakes. From the group posted above please let me know if you can't make it on Saturday night at 8 EST.

is a toughness of 120 enough to sign up?
