My account was hacked.

Neonrx, my 48 Cleric had all bags, loot, 70 Plat, and my bank pretty much cleared out. My 18 Rogue that was my first character, and 12 Warrior that is NeonSplatter that I sent 10 Plat to level was cleard out also.

My first luck os for some reason, I know the players was trying to play as me even though we logged each other out by logging in every minute or 2.... I did it like 30 times trying to resest my password, but had a capital letter problem with the security question.

But every minute or 2 I would log in and kick him out of game, then he would log in and kick me ouf game. I got the message to Guild chat of what was happening, then Laochan in guild started grouping with the guy every time. Apparently he accepted every time, and Lao followed to help however he could. The password changing on Trion's web-site was not working, so the T1 phone support changed my email login to a different email, then the hacker could not log in any more. But the got 70 Plat + what was in bank + 4bags, + my inventory bags, and all the 16 slot bags themselves.

T1 support says they should be able to get all of my stuff back, but we will see.

LESSON - don't let your coinlock password for email be the same as your in game password. That might have been my downfall. He didn't know my security question though.

LUCKILY they did not sell all of my current purples and blues that I am wearing..... that is worth 10 times more than all I lost...

That and my wife is having major surgery tomorrow... so I will be AFK for a few days, so it will be sweet if it gets fixed like T1 support said it would be.

Sorry my friend. Definitely good advice to all about not using same password for email account and game. I even switched to a new email address solely for my rift account after my account got hacked.

Yeah, I got hacked once already too. After it was fixed I created an email for rift only with a different password. I hope its all fixed by the time you get back, but if not let us know. My wife (Marisae) can make some bags for you (I believe she's only at 240ish so whatever those bags are). Also, I hope your wife's surgery goes well and that she recovers quickly.

Sorry to hear that. The good news is that I had a similar experience prior to coin lock, and they (eventually) restored the money of mine that was taken (and because they took so long to handle it, they gave me a free month).

not to excited so far.... I called the problem in yesterday and explained everything. I got the autoemail reply that a ticket had been opened, saying this. When I got home from work, it was gone, and another person kept logging on to my account and kicking me out of the game stating someone else logged in as me. over and over. Even more than helping me Fog.... can you point out to someone that MY ENTIRE DESCRIPTION OF MY PROBLEM TICKET WAS CHANGED!!!!!!!!! How can that happen? I have been in IT internal company support for 20 years.... have used a couple dozen help desk programs, and have never seen anything like that before....
