I have used the Marketplace and have to say I'm happy with the way it works. It is a very cool ides! However, I wonder - when I ask to get gear crafted, is there a way to ask for augments in your item? I was unable to figure out a way to do this, and I believe it's important when ordering level 50 items. I personally would not want to order a crafted level 50 purple item without getting a good augment installed in it.
Now, some enterprising crafters might go ahead and throw an augment in the item, and that's great, but it's not always obvious what stats people want. So to avoid any difficulties, I think it would be great if, when placing an order for an item, you could somehow specify the augment you'd like in a crafted item - by stats would be fine (i.e., wisdom/endurance, dodge, intelligence, int/spell crit). Unfortunately, this proposal leaves the quality of the augment (purple, blue, green) out of it.
One alternative (which would make things easier for the crafters) would be for the person placing the order to specify ("I have an augment to use in this") when placing the order. Then, when the crafter claims that workorder, the customer would use in-game mail to send the augment to the crafter. Crafter makes the item and sends it to the customer and everyone is happy.
I'm sure there are other schemes which would work, so I'm just throwing out these ideas. However, the base idea that workorders should be able to specify an augment is, I believe, sound.
