I wanted to request some Pristine Distillate through the Marketplace, but can't seem to find it. Am I blind or is it indeed missing?
It's produced through Foraging along with Potent Distillate, Pure Distillate then Pristine, all from the "dropped" quests.
They have been added into the system.

Good luck on getting your request filled! (Sincerely... not being 'snarky'.) I don't know about others, but I've picked hundreds of Twilight Blooms and Tempestflowers and never gotten the item drop for the quest/recipe to make Pristine Distillate. I'm sure someone in a guild this size is bound to have gotten it (if it really exists? :-) ), but certainly not all us foragers would even be able to fill your order.
Meanwhile, I get the worthless (to me) cloth quest item(s) a half dozen times a day. :-(

Oh, I won't be holding my breath but it doesn't hurt to ask. :) My foraging is only 263 so even if by some stroke of luck I did pick up the drop, its a 280 item so I wouldn't be able to use it for a while anyway. The cloth quest drop? I've picked it up a couple dozen times already at the very least on my Apothecary alone, so know where you're coming from there. Totally useless to me and BoP. Sadly, my outfitter has never picked it up.
those drops should be more common after 1.2, since they are adding them to both tiers of the recipe (so for example the cinerium recipe will drop from oricalchum AND carmintium nodes). I still haven't seen the polished shadethorn recipe, but I have some of the distillate recipes. I'll check my toon for this one.
I've heard if you keep the cloth quest item in your bank you will stop getting them.
I can make any of the distillates. If you need them, please let me know. Sorry, but I do not have the mats to make and give away stacks of these. If you need a few, I can probably cover it. While I use the marketplace here to meet member needs frequently, I think the contribution points for certain items like the distallates and other multi-component refined items needs tuning. 1 x Silk Cloth = 1 Contribution point ... 1 x Pristine Distillate = 1 Contribution point. Seems unbalanced given the cloth drops like rain and the distillate requires 3 farmed and 1 purchased item to make.
I can also make the pristine distillate on my rogue, Waitforit, if you send me the material I'll make em and send em back to you.
