Update on my situation and questions about Rift

Hello thar folks.

Most of you know me as Vamp/Vampiresbane, but I've seen a lot of other new folks as well. I quit WAR about 3? months ago to put all my energy into looking for work. I plan to join you all in Rift in the near future.

So here's what is going on atm.
I'm working part time atm, but it brings in just enough cast to pay basic bills. I might* have a very good job oppurtunity coming up, but I am SO superstitous at this point, I don't want to say anything more until it's set in stone. But know things are looking up (ish).

I'm thinking, depending on the job progress and how fast I get through the main campaign of Shogun 2 total war, I should be joining you guys in May or June.

My questions for you all to be thinking about are the following:
What class(es) are needed?
Daghdre (Ben), what guild roles need to filled/fleshed out?

I don't really care what class I play. I see that we're hosting a big event every Wednesday night. I could either help lead that night -or- help lead the defense on Thursday night when the bad dudes (heh, nope, I don't know what the sides are yet) attack back.

You don't have to answer these questions yet as I'm sure things will develop more and more as the weeks go by, but let me know when I poke my head back into the forums. I am watching! :P

Vamp right now the classes we need are Warrior/Healer/Roge/Mage. Yea there are alot out there so play what ever you want. Most everyone has one of each type. I my self have 2 atm warrior/roge. As for as a role, well there are a lot stepping up in one way or another. I would say get a copy, and start playing. Oh make a Gaurdian, the (bad guys) are the defient. Good to hear from you. Oh over look the misspelling.

Vamp, I hate to say it but you might want to look into Water Tech jobs in Japan. I have a feeling people are going to be needing purified water bad over there. If your up for it I bet it would be a killer opportunity that would send you rocketing into your profession. I miss ya man.

Warrior/healer/rogue/mage? Boy that really narrows it down. :P EDIT: (Comment on Fog's response) Oh yeah. Those poor, poor people. I wouldn't wish that sort of problem on anyone. Cleaning radiation out of water/dirt is not an easy task. Treatment usually consists of injecting some sort of "food" into the water/soil to grow bacteria that eat the "food" plus a little bit of the radiactive isotopes. Sewage treatment is much, much easier compared. Richland, WA is a Superfund site that basically does just that under the jurisdiction of EPA and Department of Ecology. The US gov apparently made a lot of nukes/nuclear fuel at the Richland site. For the most part, unless I start my own water purifying business, I need to get a job with a engineering firm that submits a contract proposal to work over there. That said, the job opportunities within such a company should jump up a ton in order to help Japan. I, as always, will be keeping my eyes open. I just checked craigslist for Japan. Not much on there. I may have to try to find a Japanese job searching tool. Granted I don't know Japanese...

Vamp this game is an Alt nightmare. I still change my build daily. Thank god for cheap respects and multiple roles :D. Going to need a few good solid tanks soon.
