What should I do in preparation for the 22-week public event?

It sounds like it's going to be PvP-centric. Is it a "march" through all the PvP Warfronts, culminating in the assault on Meridian? Do I need to be a certain level range each week?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,
Khimber

We go zone by zone completing Rifts, Invasions, World Bosses and fighting any Defiant dumb enough to touch the soil we walk upon. The higher the level at the time of the event the better. We'd love to have some "Protectors" among us to help fight off any defiant that show up.

I personally would love to fight any defiant trying to stop us or at least die trying.

"The higher the level at the time of the event the better" Perfect! I just wanted to make sure I didn't need to stay max 19 or something :) Very much looking forward to this.

There will be lots of high level punks trying to bust our parade. Need as many high level players as possible to assault their assault.

Honestly everyone should have at least one level 50 within 22 weeks, the leveling pace in this game is more then fast enough to support even the most casual of players capability of getting that.

If you focus on that alone, yes. If you're trying to make a crafter, things slows down to a crawl as you waste a lot of time trying to get resources.

I wouldn't worry about Leveling as much as finding what you enjoy playing and how your most effective. This event isn't about getting everyone to max level. Rushing to max level only makes things stale. When you get there theres nowhere to go. Now I know Trion works on a 3 month major patch cycle. I specifically designed this event to get us through the first chapter of this game. By the time it's complete we'll have new content to play with and I'll design another 3 month event to slowly progress through it. The biggest mistake I see players making in MMO's is rushing to the end game. The End game is just that... The End. It's not about the beginning or the end it's about the journey in between which decides what kind of person you are. Enjoy the game for all its worth. Take your time and explore a bit. Play with all 9 souls you will have and learn not only what works the best but also what works the best for you. The End game will come in time but rushing there just insures that you miss out on all the fun stuff on the way. Being first level 50 on the server will only make you that guy at the party that brags about how cool he is. It wont make you friends, it wont make you happy, and in all honestly the only thing it will do is make you the outsider. Enjoy the journey with friends and enjoy playing the game. I'd hate to see you guys get there and then go "Now What?" and grow bored of the game because you've already done everything before anyone else has. All im sayin is Play how you want, when you want, as long as you want. Enjoy the game for what its worth and know that Trion has a lot of fun things instore in the future. They have a year long game plan already laid out and will be bringing us new content every 3 months. Be patient. :). Foghladha

I'll have the Rogue and Warrior doing their best to keep up, especially for an event that is fresh every week and gets the team together. Usually, I'm a lot chattier in both vent and guildchat, but being new to the group has me quieter than usual until I get to know everyone, and this seems to be one way to do it. There are just too many of you otherwise! My two mains will be Bard and Champion for the most part, but I'll have a DPS spec for the Rogue and a Tank spec for the warrior as soon as level and time permit.
