It was full right as soon as it went up; It came up, I clicked on it, I got a 60 person queue.

298! i'm at 419! I guess they are starting the population cap low initially

i clicked it instantly and was 800! 30 min. crap!

At least this isn't Aion. On headstart day I was queued at about 800 and took 7 1/2 hours to get in! lol

209 for me 8 mins left and I'm on EST so I have already had 3 extra hours to wait. lol

as i go down in que my time goes up. they shoulda had more servers, especially with the whole 1 mil accounts thing. imagine next week when the game actually hits the shelf for those who haven't even heard of it yet. down 300 in the que to 500 and my time is 10 min longer than it was when i started! so unhappy atm. can't wait to get in

Over a 1000?!? Okay, I will shut up now. Just got pissy cuz I clicked as soon as it appeared on my screen and was eons in the rear. Started with 30 min at 800...down to 400 now and over an hour. Guess we'll see everyone when we all get there. grrrr

No 1240 almost 3 hour wait

Every server is listed as full except one (it has a q as well btw but its only 15 minutes). Position is 1184 on Faeblight. 3 hours 20 minutes wait time (estimated) I don't know why i thought Trion's opening day would be different.

I guess I should sign my husband on and get him in the queue then maybe he can play when he gets home lol

Faeblight is a server a ton of people decided to roll on. If we wanted a populated server, this was the place to go.

yup I was right I got him in queue at 1250 with a 5 hour wait time

I'm gonna assume the q is due to only letting so many people into the starting zone at a time rather than an overall server limit. Because if I have to wait 3 hours to play this game on a regular basis I will be finding something else to do.

I got in and created a roster of characters. Queue is back up to 7 hours. Looks l Iike I wont be playing for awhile. I think we need to stick with this server though. Others will leave.

Well, the character select screen has its own server too, from what i saw. Might be a combo of both. The regular ques every day killed a lot of subs in Aion the first few days as well, but i don't think we'll have that prob. I dropped to 10 min and then went down 20 positions in que and back up over an hour. THAT dropped my stomach... *twiddels thumbs*

HA! Just got home from class, I knew there was going to be a massive wait but 6 hours XD that's just hilarious. Oh well, I'll be off playing Bulletstorm and Dragon Age while I wait in queue lol See ya'll online at some point hopefully in the near future XD

3 hours 49 mins of waiting for me. I'm kinda of ticked off atm. If this is what it going to be like everyday. I will go back to playing WoW where there are no queue times. Seriously this is pretty lame. Trion I always though would have their stuff together, but this is pretty lame imo. Now where is that kitten so I can punch it. I'm going to have even more gray then I have right now by the time I get in.

Had a couple hours of queue to go and got disconnected- now it's an 1100-person 6-hour queue *groans*

This is only temporary... every new MMO has had queues, especially during the first few days. Keep in mind that not everyone who is logging in now will continue to subscribe past the first month, and the server population will start to even out as time goes by. Trion is watching and rolling out new servers as needed as well.

1002, 3 hour wait...bleh. Oh well I can use the time to read up on my build. Heh.

Yeah, I'm not worried about the queue length in the long run. Give it a few days and I'm sure it'll all be sorted out.

You should see the anger on the Rift forums. There are a lot of people really ticked off atm.

Doh! Logged on at 10:01 PST and was 864 in queue, got all the way down to 7 and my ISP went down. Logged back in on my backup line and was 1206.... /sigh

I'm sorry but Qs on any MMO launch should be expected. The worse thing Trion could do is overreact to the q and bring too many servers online. WAR did that and it seemed like some servers were dead within 2 weeks. Give it time.

I understand there are queues at launch but that doesn't make it any less frustrating to have to wait 6 hours to play with people you like. :) We just happened to pick the server with THE longest queue time.

I was pretty low in queue like almost at an hour. I get disconneted and now I'm back up to 6 hours. I'm if I disconnect again I might just call it quits not worth the stress.

zahir you have it wrong. We didn't pick the server with the longest q. The q followed us to our server. They want to be near our greatness.

I feel like I am watching ping pong with the estimated wait times jumping around. Saw a high of 7 hours and 25 minutes later I am jumping between 3 and 5 hours.

RP servers tend to have outrageous first-day queues anyway since names tend to carry greater significance to the general population on such servers. I couldn't hang out today and play so I just grabbed some of the names I wanted and logged out. Hope to play tonight. I am eager to develop a new character.

What is the latest on server que times in Faeblight? I don't get home till 6 PM EST, I asked a buddy with two systems to log in on my account and create two characters for me. I hope I don't get shut out and forever removed from my peeps :(

The queues will work themselves out as players redistribute themselves. Premature to talk about switching already in my opinion.

lol, every single server was listed as full when I started my login half an hour ago, including a large number of bonus servers that weren't there 7 hours ago when I went to bed.

I wouldn't even worry about the estimated time it tells you. It bounces around like a ping pong ball and actually goes up sometimes when my place in the que goes down. Just sitting and waiting, I'll be able to get in soon enough.

Oh, it's going to be brutal tonight when I get home. That will give me time to read though.

I have droped from 1200 to 538 in 45 minutes

For the estimated time, I started at around 1100, was down to around 750 after half an hour, and 550 after 45 mins. Should be around an hour and a half total I expect to be waiting (Rift Estimate was initially 5-6 hours).

The only poopy part is when you get down to 300 or so in the que and get disconnected and end up back to 1000+. Happened twice so far. :(

What if.... we could pay an extra $20 in paypal to get on a Fast Pass to bypass the huge queue lines. Would you do it? Hell, they have those in major US Amusement Parks for popular roller coasters. I'd pay $10 to get to the top of the line :)

I logged in to the game after waiting for about three hours to find that one of my files was corrupted. Ya.

lame they booted us - now the forever queue # 445 and hubbe 998 -boooo 2 hrs!!

Try to stick with it. Mine said 5 hours when I logged back in after the servers going down and am down to 10 min. Still along time to wait but not really the 5 hours they said at first.

I am trying to download the client and after about 1 minute or so it stops and says the the network operation timed out and I have to click on update again. Each time it downloads a little bit before stopping. Is this normal? Is there a setting in my computer to change this? Or is the problem at Trion's end?

Probably Trion's end, especially if it's downloading a little bit before failing. Servers are completely hammered right now.

Ouch 3.5 hour wait at 3:30ish PST...

Trion made a mistake by having some of the server name/types stay the same... Those are the servers being hammered because all of the beta communities are choosing them from what I have read and seen :(

@Patrin I had the same problem. If you are you getting an Error 1034, there is a good write up on the Support site here: http://trionworlds.custhelp.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/915 If you are using Kaspersky, it is probably due to that. I added the patcher to my allowed applications and haven't had any more problems.

I think they're also intentionally limitting the number of players per server to eliminate lag and crashes. Maybe as they feel more secure in the performance of the hardware, they will slowly open the servers up a little more. I kinda expected this though, so I'm not terribly disappointed or even surprised.

1157 in line and have about 5 hours and 52 minutes. I'm finding another server until the madness is over, I don't have time to wait 6 hours before I can play a game

Well, i did get on one of the newer servers just fine. Rolled a character, and then thought to myself - Beta II? Nope, done with Beta. I will just wait in the Faeblight soup lines.

1196 in queue. 9 1/2 hour wait. So how is the questing going? I've heard like 50 people trying to camp the same spot for quests. Might jsut have to roll on another shard until things settle down. Hopefully noone will take my character names. :\

What would have been nice is if Trion had the list of servers ready at the same time they sent the email about downloading the Headstart client. Then they could conducted a survey on which server we planned on going to and gotten a better idea about server population and which ones would be hit the hardest. Anyways, it's easy to complain from afar I guess. What really sucks is long queue times affect the casual guilds like ours the most. Because we're not hardcore, we don't have all day to wait for queue times. Oh well, in a few weeks, this will hopefully be just an unpleasant speed bump in the road. ;0

Well 11 hours later I am finally able to login to Faeblight! /doh Now I will be afraid to ever logout! Anyone know a macro? /jk :)
