Wanted to catch up on the state of the game (Rift) and see where the family is going to play on release.
Got Starcraft II over the Holidays and have been playing it for a few weeks.
Are they still planning an early March release for Rift?
What server will the family be playing?
Is pre-order required for the head-start?

March 1st is the advertised release date, with February 24th being the head start. Yes, pre-order is needed for the head start. The server is still TBA, but I believe the family has settled on a PVE-RP server.

Steam definitely has the best preorder bonuses, but you can find some 20% off coupons floating around for direct2drive.
