Why hello there

Hey everyone,

Fog was nice enough to invite me to the fam and I just wanted to introduce myself and take a few to say hello to everyone. I used to play a Witch Hunter named Adham (dubbed Battle Pilgrim by my friends) in Warhammer back in the glory days of Phoenix Throne (until the mass exodus) so I'm sure I've grouped with quite a few of you (I have fond recollections of Fog's T3 herds).

Definitely getting geeked about Rift and I look forward to gaming with the lot of you. Gameplay wise, I'll probably be spending most of my time on the PVP frontlines, but PvE nights are always great to mix it up. As of now, I'm leaning towards a Paladin main tanky tank build but I have no problems playing a healer if you guys need some more healsauce (been having a blast with a cleric in beta).

Going to be tied up the next two weekends so I might not be able to get in on the last beta events, but I look forward to meeting you all in the head start!

Fog - Morigana is back! I will be playing Rift - it is pre-ordered and installed. I shall be searching you out in game for my Guild invite :) I've missed you all.

Welcome!, I miss the glory days of Phoenix Throne myself! Rift seems very solid, fun, and diverse. I am hoping this is my next big game that I spend my time on. I have tried most of the bigger games since I started MMO's in FEB 04 with SWG. Most were disappointing, some were horrible. I have loved Rift in my time in beta. I look forward to playing with you and everyone. One of the reasons I posted to this besides to say welcome and hey! was the point you brought up about what classes we need going into launch. Do we have a thread stating our probable classes or what and have an idea of the numbers and make up of our members. I am leaning toward either tank or healer myself, don't know what flavor yet. But I would like to have an idea of what would be desired for us as far as secondary healers and tanks or whatnot. Thanks!

Thanks for the warm welcomes everyone! An official post your main thread would be great. Grolyn has a nice thread going on potential classes but there are some good discussions going on in it. Would a bare-bones Name/Class thread be beneficial with all theorycrafting and build ideas taking place in Grolyn's?
