Are pre-order items usable during Head Start?
Yes. All of the pre-order items that you receive will be available to you when Head Start begins.
Trion does have the occasional brain fart from time to time but they fix em pretty quickly.
Only thing I am actually waiting for is better payment options. A lot of players might want to join the headstart, which does not work without plastic money. I am seriously wondering how Trion could miss the fact, that throughout Europe people tend to pay by ELV (Germany), PayPal or simply GTC. Apparently one cannot even register the headstart key without credit card, which is one hell of a joke, being affected myself unfortunately.
It is a problem for many. PayPal support is promised before Live Launch but might not be ready for Head Start.

When will PayPal be available as a payment method?
We don't have an exact date for when PayPal will be available, but we're working hard on this and hope to have an announcement soon.

Pre-Ordering this afternoon after work. I have to admit, I was pretty excited about WAR (tabletop Warhammer Fantasy guy, pen and paper Warhammer guy from back in the 80's-90's... Blood Bowl tabletop and horrible first offering on PC.) but Trion has really gone above and beyond in a very short period to lure me into their game world. Before beta testing, I was intrigued but not enough to purchase. I was a Guild Wars 2 holdout. I'll still be picking up GW2 when it arrives, but I'll be subscribing to Rift for certain. Trion is, thus far, soooo responsive to their "brain farts" as Mac put it, it inspires confidence.
Warhammer Fantasy, the rpg warhammer AND blood bowl? How could you have not played Necromunda OR Gorka Morka?! =P O I miss me some Necromunda
Oh damn! I forgot Necromunda! Also left out Space Marines etc....
Glad to hear they will be available during Head Start!
