How can we get into Omega?
just gotta be in alpha Aeth. You're in alpha test, omega becomes an available choice as well.
I remember reading also that Alpha will be held under NDA even after launch. That true of Omega as well?
I think so Faewin, after all, you can't access Omega shard if you're not in the alpha test.
Yay for more testing :) I am, as I was before, available should the Family need more testers.
Interesting that they are testing in layers rather than a linear progression of phases. All the better for quality though so who ever is in there cheers.
I doubt if the NDA will EVER be lifted for Alpha/Omega. We wont even be allowed to say in the future, yep, I was an Alpha Tester. I am trying to get some recognition for the Alpha Testers but... it's in conflict with the double secret Cow Level / fight club stuff. [Hint] There IS no secret cow level, never was, never will be. [Hint2] The first rule of fight club is that THERE IS NO FIGHT CLUB.
I love my warhammer title for being a tester.
Well, let us know if there's anything we can do to help facilitate getting alpha status. My family and I have been quite active in beta, have reported countless issues/feedback, and would been keen to help make Rift an even better home for us when it launches.
What Mac you didn't find the secret cow level. It's just inside Meridian Kill the 3 chipmunks in alphabetical order a rift will open up nearby walk through the portal looking gate thing. It will port you inside a burned out village with 6 haystacks. Click on the needle and it will take you to the cow level. It's awesome. You even get a title unlock. I hear if you beat the top time you can get a battlecow mount.
That BattleCow is too dang slow... There is a mirror of that near Sanctum but you must be using your Deftard to kill the dancing bunnies.
Omega is up now. Elth has once again mistakenly tried on a girdle of gender change and will be trapped in the body of a female dwarf until he can figure out how to break the enchantment. Hit level 10 before logging for the night so hopefully wont be too far behind when I get home from work tomorrow.
