they ever post the beta 3 wrapup?
What server are we all playing on in Beta? I've been roaming around between three servers for the first three events because I forgot to look where everyone else was in my excitement.
This is Elth by the way

for the beta events, Gaiscioch has a guild in Faeblight PVE-RP server. I rolled a Guardian toon there. I also have a Defiant toon on the Sunset PVP-RP server. I would say try Faeblight, first.
Aww yeah, finally some constant PVP action. Time to formulate some build ideas in the meantime.
edit: Though incomplete, I've been using http://www.riftrolebuilder.com/ for some planning.

As we gain PvP points, we gain both XP to level our character and Favor which we need to get PvP gear and a PvP soul. Those PvP souls are very good. The PvP vendors can be found on the North side of Sanctum Isle. The Warfront NPC is there too. Get a PvP quest from him and others nearby. There are 2 ways to join Warfronts, either talk to that NPC or use hot key K. Then join solo (you will be auto grouped when you get there) or pre-form our groups in advance and have the group leader join us as a group. It's good to pre-form so we are in the same Warfront working together and using Vent. If you are online when not many family is, join as a PUG. That can be fun too if you match up against another PUG.
I can share suggested stratiges and tactics here or explain as we go. Any prefference?

Scott hasn't posted a Beta 3 Wrap yet. Beta 3 ended on New Years Eve so he hasn't been online since then.
Hey Mac, if you'd like to post some primers/strategies/tactics I'm sure you'd have people that would enjoy reading them. I for one, would like that if you had the time. :) I'm pleased to hear PVP awards XP though. It's pretty awesome that doing just about everything in game can truly progress one's character without feeling like time is wasted.
I'll probably be spending most of the weekend leveling a new toon up on Faeblight then. I intend on going for a Nightblade/Saboteur/Marksman build. It was doing great in group PvP in beta3. Definitely not a dueling or ganking build though. More of a support and harass.
PvP soul? a soul outside of the standard 8?
Aloha folks, I've just returned after a year or so away from MMOs in general. I played in Beta 3, and look forward to seeing y'all in game. Cheers, Thofir
@ Kintrik, Yep! :) There are many special souls you haven't heard about yet.
I hope that family Warfront groups will not be restricted to those who use voicechat only. :(
This is the one thing that makes me think that I should no longer play MMOs at all, or specifically look for a deaf guild. :(

Whenever I know we have deaf people in the group I type like a madman. We want you and we'll make it work. We'll also use voice comms. It can save some time, but isn't worth it if it means leaving family out.
I'm with you here Arieltalia. I don't mind voip on the odd occasion, but I much prefer typing. My personality in VOIP is much more reserved than that when I am typing away in chat. My mouth has never been able to keep up with my brain, and my ears are very selective in what they decide to process (usually meaning I don't listen very well). Hence typing is my preferred method of communication.
Ariel! Dude, I just figured out your signature and last comment... You gotta forgive me, I'm a total meat head sometimes. My nephew is deaf so I'm looking forward to learning sign language. I now see your pain at Vent-lead warbands! I promise I will keep this in mind every time we group together! /facepalm
Okay, I'm not deaf. I do hope I can still retain some of these warm fuzzy feelings from you guys, though, after this admittance. :D
However, for the past five years, my fibromyalgia did indeed prevent me from using voicechat. (It induced stress, which induced pain. I am now completely cured, however. :) )
But I still don't use voicechat, and will not. It's just a preference at this point, but a very strong one. Being able to type 120 WPM doesn't hurt either. :P

DOH! Open mouth, insert foot. On my way home from work I'll stop and give a homeless guy .50¢ to kick me square in the junk. Sorry Ariel!
*hugs* <3 Reclis
No worries. As an avid non-voicechat user, I stand up for deaf people everywhere! Heh, just kidding.
Actually, as a former disabled gamer, I understand all too well what handicapped people go through, and I take no umbrage whatsoever at being thought of as a deaf person. Ugh, I hope that doesn't sound insulting to deaf people.
And erm, wow, I've really derailed this thread with my fears of exclusion. Sorry about that, please carry on. I really am excited for PvP in this game.

Ariel, gratz on shacking off fibromyalgia! That sure isn't easy to get rid of.
Yes, Falonarion, I have come up against the same sort of stuff in other games and other guilds. "If you can't use voicechat you're a terrible player." Riiiiiight. Fifteen years of playing MMOs without voicechat makes me a terrible player. *flips the bird* Honestly, the few times that I did use voicechat I BECAME a terrible player! I can't concentrate on both playing and listening to voices. It is definitely good to see some support here in the family. :) And thanks, Mac. "Modern medicine" only wanted to drug me up, so I turned to alternative medicine and God (hope I don't offend atheists here). And yes, I am completely cured, no pain or exhaustion anymore whatsoever.
My wife is a healer in real life (and in game :)) She can do amazing stuff.
Just as a note, a bunch of us Badlanders are playing on Seastone for Beta. Black Talons and Death Dealers of War (prob. others as well) have guilds started up on the Defiant side, but we've been playing both sides there to keep in touch (unless they changed it you can /tell cross faction)
Day before launch Beta 4. Have we posted where the guild will be forming up for the beta. I have seen allot of chat but nothing firm, like "we will be on umtifratz server on snooty gnomes faction.. Starting Friday. Inquiring minds want to know.P:)
I'm assuming we're still on Faeblight as guardians, however as its just beta and we're not planning any events, I guess it's open...

Beta 3 I was on a different server playing a rogue on the Defiant side. Was when I read forums and looked at guilds forming I descovered where Fog was playing. I plan to start a player some time on Friday, so how do I connect up with you all?
Hello ALL! Hope everyone had a wonderful Holiday season. I guess its been almost a year since I last played Warhammer with many of you, work seems to have gotten in the way of my time off :) I just reveived an invite for Beta4 and would love to join you. Look forward to reestablishing some great relationships - Stephen (Holimoli)
/who Gaiscioch didn't work last time, but if you hit O and then go to the guilds tab, there is a guild search there.
