Céad Míle Fáilte Kintrik :) Unfortunately, given its a stress test, the people at the alpha test won't be able to join you guys on this test unless they've got a beta keys themselves, but, looking forward to meeting everyone online on the open beta and when it goes live :) I'll probably make a replay of the characters i currently have. Celebtyr, Aenarion and Longfang :) Possibly a cleric also, though i'm not too fond of the bandaid gameplay lol ;)

ok so alpha testers are like normal old school beta testers. And beta testers are stress tests? I saw your guys name and remembers you back in DAoC (i played Mid/Guin so didn't fight ya until merges started)

Yeah alphas get open world and the "beta" is more of a social experement / stress test. We test the code you guys break it and give the engineers something to do. There's abou 2000 alpha testers and about that as beta from what I've seen. Only difference is you guys are funneled into certain areas to try to crash the system. Once beta 3 is over I'm betting they will lift the vale and let the social buzz begin. To convince wow players there a sexier neighbor next door they've gotta win the word of mouth game.
