Very nice resources! Good collection! As a note, I sold my soul to Zam. I'm going to be helping them write lore for their Wiki, and I got a shiny VIP pass out of it :) Their Wiki will also have a functional item database at launch. The character builder is EXTREMELY out of date, but will be updated as soon as the NDA is lifted, so says the author!

Yeah, and in the latest podcast Adam said that Trion may be putting up their own character builder. That would be nice in order to avoid the whole Curse thing that happened with Warhammer. And wow, it's great that you're working on the Zam wiki! And I just scored a VIP pass for myself today, so now I'm even more excited for this weekend! Sat around for an hour or so pressing F5 on MMORPG.com. :P In other games I tried not to play in beta too much because I didn't want to ruin the content for myself. But with the dynamic content in this game, as well as flipping around souls and stuff, I'm not worried about spoiling release at all.

uh... i would go easy if i were you Ariel. It can be quite a spoiler anyway. Mind though, that even for us in Alpha, that have full access to the whole map, its *WAY* too much content. And according to Ben, the area that we have access to, that is huge already, is just a tiny fraction of what can be done, so... :)

Well, this is going to probably sound really silly to you, but I have a bit of a failsafe that I also use when I'm playing betas to prevent me from getting burned out on the game. I never use my chosen character names in beta. That way they are more real at release. I have a Rogue build and a Warrior build that I want to try out this weekend. So I'll probably use the names Astira and Cerraline.

Makes sense. Psicological effects of a fond name association can be very strong, even if subtle.

Oh, I would suggest people check out www.riftpodcast.com too. We referred to it earlier but I just realized it wasn't linked!
