New Event Timer Website using new server-linking API

I think they did a really nice job on this site using the new APIs. The last time I visited it, I did not care for how it was designed, so I stuck with Dragon Temple. Unfortunately, I understand that he's had some RL family issues creep up, so I don't know if or when he'll upgrade the Temple website.

So, I now recommend using this gw2stuff website because it reads event status data sent from our server, so there's no reliance on "volunteers" manually updating timers or having anyone mess with it.

I believe that Fog will also be adding the API to the SanctumofRall.com website once he gets the time. Meanwhile, the gw2stuff timers will suffice.

API is already plugged in for the WvW stuff. It's gonna be a bit before i can get the dragon timers running automated. The API doesn't tell you "When" it just tells you if it's up. For me to track most of these I'll be pinging the server every few seconds which would cause quite a bit of slowdown and my server guy probably wouldn't be impressed. I'll have to work on a JQuery version so that it's not taxing our server, it taxes whoever is viewing it.

Nice, are you going to track objective change of ownerships, or just scores like current? Someone said that the event timers for GW2Stuff are about 15s delayed. I just started using it last night and I was pretty impressed with the timing of updates. Once ArenaNet gets some of those events more balanced to last longer, that delay should be fine for still making it on time. Their map is semi-useful, but there's no text data to show zones or waypoints. So for some of the events that I am unfamiliar with, I found that I had to try to match topography graphics from the website to my in-game map, to see where I needed to go. What I love is the right-side tracking. It puts active events on top, gives the pre-event and phase status and for some, includes the pre-window timers. I also like the Temple status, showing what's failed as "Incomplete". I see a lot of potential for future PvE events, where a squad leader can tell what Temples are in what state and know where to pick up when they get to the area.

Interesting, but I don't really understand what I am looking at. I see three servers, but four columns (what's the yellow?). I know its tracking the 15m score updates, but the objective numbers don't add up to anything that makes sense. At first I thought it was new objectives captured in the last 15m, but I don't think we're capping 3 Keeps every 15m. It can't be how many Keeps we control, because there are 3 Keeps per map and I don't see Stonemist displayed. I think that some column headers might help in understanding the data displayed. edit: or a legend or overview. There are column headers but they're not descriptive of the data in them.
