Hey everyone! Getting more and more psyched for the GW2 launch daily.
ArenaNet has stated in their blog that you'll be able to reserve your two-word character names in GW2 by logging into the original Guild Wars before July 31. So to reserve all your cool character names create those characters in GW and log in ASAP!

The reservation will be good from headstart through launch day, so that gives you a few days to make the toon in GW2.
As for single name characters - no reservations there, so good luck.
