Turtle?

Who already has a turtle? Does everybody feel the last meta is too hard? Have we considered setting up a premade to do that meta? I have not attempted this meta yet because I have not had time yet but I have been hearing a lot of discussion about it. I was just wondering what we thought here.

Well I got egg yesterday, but still have to do collections to actually get it. I was actually part of Mighty Teapot's squad yesterday and they discusses about the meta fight a lot. Most common problem is that most of the maps aren't organized very well by commander and by players.

Currently it seems map size is 60 players and in stream they were talking that Soo-Won actual hit points were leaked. If I recall right, they said it was something like 170 million hit points. Fight has 20 minute timer so equal 1200 seconds. Which would mean that roughly 2.4k DPS would be needed from all players. Now of course there are phases and some down time while running back and forth etc. so they came in conclusion that 7k - 10k dps should be sufficient for the kill. Getting that amount of dps shouldn't be a problem if players has somewhat decent gear compared to build and know how to avoid at least half of the time damage aoe. 

They were actually suggesting that turtle shouldn't be behind the meta fight, that it could be acquired either some other way or partially succeeding meta X amount of times and that would give you the egg. And maybe completing actual meta fight successfully would grant you for example skin for the turtle or something goodies. 

They also mentioned that it is highly possible that meta event will be nerfed today (8th of march). How they will do that. I guess we will know that soon.

My opinion is that surely meta end fight surely needs some tweaking, but not too much. I have actually enjoyed that metas aren't walk in the park on this new expansion. However I hope dang bugs will be fixed. For example I have seen Seitung Province meta bug out at least 3-4 times when I tried it and I have actually able been get to close finishing only once. We just run out of time on end fight on my Sunday event. Also I would move turtle behind something else. Like there are those turtle events in Dragon's End. Make it so that you need do those at least 10 times and get for example gold reward and after that they will give turtle egg as reward. But I do hope they won't nerf metas too much. Besides once people play more and more those metas, they learn them. It is the same as in HoT and PoF metas and so on.

I hit post before I typed...lol.  That is cool that you got in teapots run. I have not had an attempt yet, but I hope to soon so I can see the fight. I will probably watch some videos first to see what I need to do. I was just curious about everybody else thoughts on it.

I have been hesitant to try the Meta for the turtle mount . Sure I could join a run with organized communities  like Teapot but have not felt motivated to do that. I know they are changing things next week so that you can get the turtle mount with map currency. I haven't read up on it and  am not sure what that entails.

I hope that when there is a new way to get the turtle mount -0 as of next Tuesday we  can form groups within the guild to work towards that together
