Looking for advice on my Level 50 Guardian - Levelling Gear and Dungeon Build/Gear questions

So I hit 50 last night and am about to level my crafting to 225 so I should be able to make Green lvl 50 gear (I hope).  I kinda have two separate lines of questions here.

1) Levelling

I'm using a pretty basic levelling build, Renewed Justice & Inspired Virtue pretty much sums it up.  Right now I'm using Sword/Torch as my main weapon set and rocking Fiery Wrath for the +10% damage vs Burning targets.  I also run Signet Heal (and Signet Mastery Trait), Save Yourselves!, Purging Flames and Judge's Intervention (for more Burning).

Up until now I've been wearing lvl 35 Green Crafted "Strong" Gear (Power/Precision).  I know Renewed Justice is awesome but my questions are...

a) Are the additional Burning Traits and Slot Skills worth it?  Keeping targets Burning deals damage and raises my other attacks damage by 10% but would I do better with other Traits, Slot skills and using another weapon (like GS or Hammer)?

b) If Burning is the right way to go, what stats do I want to craft my gear toward?  Continue Power/Precision to maximise my regular attacks but doesn't help my Burning, Condition Damage to increase how much damage my ever present Burning Condition is doing but doesn't help my regular attacks or something else?

2) Dungeons

I haven't been in any dungeons yet but I hope to start soon in AC (story) and run explorables.  I see a lot of lvl 80 builds but not much for lower levels.  Without access to the last tier of traits and with 30 less points to spread around I can't get some of the better traits and don't have the flexibility that I'll have at 80.

a) What is a good build for doing dungeons while levelling?  Are shouts (and shout traits) worth it without altruistic healing?  Meditations without Monk's Focus?  Do I trait Spirit Weapons and use the Bow?  Trait Consecrations?  Which Weapons do I use for most fights?  What others do I carry for specific types of encounters?

b) What gear should I craft to wear in Dungeons?  Will I need more Vitality to keep my HP up and not get owned by Condition Damage?

I leveled using the GS and staff exclusively. There is another post on the family website that discusses leveling a guard using a greatsword. THAT is the build I used and I enjoyed it. I like the guides on this website: http://www.guildwarsinsider.com/category/professions/guardian/ I currently run a build similar to what he recommends in his 41-80 guide... My build is taken from here: http://www.eturama.com/videos/gw2-guardian-build-tanky-dps-shout-heal-build-NtEmDneTViY Both links will answer every one of your questions with appropriate rationale for their opinions. The main differences in the two are play style. The first link is for a more group-support style, while the second link is a more "tanky-DPS-but-still-supporty" style.

Just go through this checklist(This is for lv80 though, oops, I only found out after typing the whole thing ~.~): 1) Do you have over 14k Hp? <- This is so that you can melee stuff and not getting one~two shot by champions..etc, a lot of classes are safer at 15k+ but guardians have heavy armor so the toughness kinda evens things out, if you want to be safe sure aim for 15k. When I say one shot I am kind of referring to later dungeons, but you might as well have a build that doesn't go down fast. Goal: You should never get 1 shot even if your "aegis" is down, that's the easiest way to measure if you HP/Toughness is doing alright. In dungeon sense, this means you should not go down being touched once by either Lupicous in Arah, or Alpha in Crucible of Eternity. Most of the time these glass cannons just become a burden to the team. This check is important because it avoids you stacking defense up to unnecessary means as well. 2) Do you have some sort of sustain? <- This mean you need a "constant" short cool down access to either heals or means to reduce and avoid damage until your healing skill CD is ready, so stuff like gain life on hit, regeneration, protection, aegis, vigor..etc. Option for sustain is overall better than stacking pure defense, so see if you can find a build you like that has this option, or a rune set. Goal: I call this the buffer between damage/defense, as long I don't get one shot, I can slowly heal myself up or evade/lower the damage enough that I can use my heal ability again. 3) Do you have condition removals on you? <- Having 1 is a good start Goal: You need this to support what you are aiming to do in 1) and 2), condition damage ignores toughness so if you don't remove it soon, it eats away your progress at lowering damage and self healing..etc; choose condition removal over stun breaker if you can only choose one. 4) once you have 1~3, then you can start thinking about how to maximize damage, the hard part is figuring out how much defense you need, this takes experience and after maybe 50 dungeon runs in various dungeons you will get a good idea what you need for 1)~3), then the rest can go into offense. Never have too much damage/no defense, or too much defense/no damage, those two ends are always the worst cases for dungeons; because many objects either need the whole team to have enough DPS to beat the timer, or have enough defense to survive though a length of time

When i leveled my guardian, i used power /perc gear all way to 80 . putting points in rad to atleast 15 , then i went 20 in honor and 20 in virt . picking up 5 in virt early is good as the minor is great for buffing and boosting resolve passive plus getting 3 con dit removel on resolve use is very good . picking up renewed focus is better if solo then tome of wrath or command . as it adds immune to damage and reset all your virts . I used great sword and Hammer all way to 80 cept a few lvls were i played around with sword . greatsword and hammer work very well together and are great for lvling in pve . Guardian have very low hp pool so learing to avoid damage cure con and dodge is very important at 80 on my guardian i`m floating at over 17k hp . still low but better then some . while i`d love to have 20k hp with our ability to survie it would be op i think .

Gear: For leveling, on all my toons, I just buy Hearty gear, Masterwork, from the TP. So I upgrade whenever the next Hearty set can be found. I don't repair my gear, unless it breaks and I am a few levels away, I just buy the new gear and vendor the old gear, and sometimes actually make a little money. Crafting your own gear for leveling, is just not worth it. Crafting takes more time and coin, than to just buy what you need off of TP. Use crafting for "end-game" needs and especially for leveling, you get 10 levels worth from 1-400, so its possible to level 1-80 on just crafting. Cost is about 4g per craft on average, so maybe 40g tops to grind out all 8 classes, to level 80, via crafting only. o.O Dungeons: I won't pretend to know enough to comment. I've done 3 total in 850 hours played. They're not my cup of tea, and I've had no need to do any as I don't care much for the dungeon gear skins, the tokens I have are just taking up bank space as it is.
