If you appreciate the joys of being a purple peep-eater like me, you know that Spring, and/or Easter, makes the little buggers hatch. Or exude. Or extrude. I'm not sure which.
In any case, the fine people at PeepResearch.org have done outstanding studies on Peeps. They have even gone so far as performing surgery to liberate the little critters from each other. I'm not sure if the Peeps fully contemplated life separated from each other, but I suppose that's better than having their little beaks chewed off by children who have just bitten the ears off of chocolate bunnies.
Anyway, I was especially moved by the Peep Surgery section. The Code Purple entry is truly a marvel. Make sure to set down any drinks prior to reading, unless you like your monitor showered with your favorite drink.
