Hi, I'm looking for a new mmo to play and I figured I'd ask here and get some feedback. :) Here are things that I am looking for
- Able to level (at some point ie lv 10, lv 20) almost completely through dungeons and have quick queues as tank or healer
- Has neat dungeon design and are preferrably not "on rails" (I only know of a few older games that do this - EQ1, EQ2, DAoC, and Vanguard)
- Roles are clearly defined and it's not everybody can do everything
- Good group finder, I've found the best ones are ones that give rewards for queuing up in "all normals, all experts, all masters" as options ala rift and ffxiv
If vanguard was still around, I'd play it *sigh* loved that game!
Games I am considering:
Final Fantasy XIV - I played it already, lv 28 or so on almost every class to keep it even with my wife
World of Warcraft - I don't know enough about it to say whether it matches the above criteria for ease of leveling up in dungeons
Rift - I don't really want to do this one unless I have people I know that play, I already have the original 4 archetypes up to level 60+ and all having dps, heals, and tank specs.
Everquest 2 - I could take a mercenary and go through the dungeons as a muo I suppose? But I play mmos to play with people!
I'd love to hear about other possibilities proposed!
