Final Fantasy XIV Saighdear

Hey everyone,

I've been getting a massive amount of tells about a conspiracy ploy to undermine Aisrine and Hex in the Final Fantasy XIV guild. I've been told a Saighdear has been created on our website.

Final Fantasy XIV is not on that list as Aisrine and Hex wanted to run under a different name in Final Fantasy XIV. They are on the Excalaber server with all the rest of the Gaiscioch who are playing it together. There is NO FINAL FANTASY XIV SAIGHDEAR. 

This isn't something I decided. This isn't some evil plot I made up. Hex and Aisrine are still my elders and still among my closest friends so lets put the rumor mill to bed and get on with the playing and having fun. 

I think what may have confused some people is that I actually fixed the forum yesterday. The Final Fantasy XIV forum has always lived under the Saighdear Forum Tree. Yesterday I fixed the parenting association links to actually show the correct parent forum and icons. This changed Gaiscioch: Final Fantasy XIV to Saighdear: Final Fantasy XIV. This doesn't mean theres a full fledge official Saighdear or anything. There has not been one registered to date. It just means that Fog fixed the code to work as intended and a side effect of that was the actual parent forum now displays correctly.

I just wanted to take a moment to clear the air here and hopefully turn this non-issue back into a non-issue. I don't know why I always end up being the bad guy when all this happens. I have no part in the Final Fantasy move to not be a Full Saighdear. It's not my choice. If it was submitted as one It would have been approved the day it was submitted. I love Aisrine and Hex and would never plot against them. I just can't even fathom where some of these rumors start.  When and If it is submitted as a Saighdear I would be happy to approve their adventures. I think Final Fantasy XIV is going to be a great game to hold us over for a while. Go have fun, enjoy it, ride a chocobo for me :).

Fog!!! I am stunned by this turn of events.  It is so bs it is laughable. If I find out who is creating theses rumours the hammer of hexing will fall.  Hard.

I thought of lots of things to say, but then decided it was so damn silly that it was not worth it.  Reminded me of school where the annoying whiny kid would break the rules on school camp, and because of that, the whole class would be sent home.

I value our forum space here and that we are able to create the FFXIV free company from within Gaiscioch.  It means we get to play together rather than all being split up, which would suck. I do not want to lose this privilege because some nameless ass wants to try and screw it up.

Let's game in FFXIV and have fun. That to me is what is cool and worthwhile :)

Please do not be that whiny kid.  You are not welcome if all you are doing is making up rumours and trying to break up the great friendship that Fog, Connor and myself have built up over the last few years.  That is just evil.
