Update: The keys have gone for North America region. However if you are in Australia, NZ or Europe you can get keys, 4600 left as at the time of this post. USA ip addresses are now blocked for these :(
Please make an effort to get a key if you would like to play, as it gives you access to phase 4. It is likely that servers will fill up fast, so I highly recommend being proactive and keeping a look out for keys. Characters you create in phase 4 will secure you a spot on Excalibur for release. Very important!
Beta keys should only be needed for the current phase, phase 3. Phase 4 is open beta, unless there is a schedule change I am not aware of!
Yeah Biv, they keep talking about "open Beta" but Gib and I cannot find a post on the FFXIV forums that says whether you need a key or not. I assume you don't, but am encouraging people just in case. That is about all we can do to ensure people get to play on our server at phase 4. Mwahahaha back up plans!
