FFXIV Legacy Character World Transfer Webpage Now Live!

Character Transfer

Any of you wanting to change your Legacy Character to Excaliber might want to do this sooner than later as Excaliber server is already listed as crowded. Transfer your characters while you still can because once the server is listed at full you are unable to transfer your characters according to the web page.

?Applications will be accepted until July 15, 2013 07:59 (PST)
?Applications may be submitted multiple times during this period.
?Players must select a World for each character they wish to transfer.
?Players will not be able to select Worlds that are already populated with the maximum number of characters, but players will be able to move from such Worlds to other Worlds.

Turns out I never played past the first beta apparently, cause I've got nothing to transfer. Fresh start for me!

All but two of my characters were already on Excalibur, but my application was submitted nonetheless. 

Has anyone had their app to Excalibur go through? Mine has not yet.

I thought the characters weren't going to be actually transferred until beta 4? I had legacy characters strewn everywhere, due to server merges etc, so I transferred all to excalibur. following from square enix:

In accordance with the establishment of an additional regional data center for FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn, applications for World transfers of Version 1.0 characters are now being accepted. We have compiled the following information to help you determine if you would like to apply for a World transfer.

Regional Data Center Placement

To ensure players in all regions have an enjoyable experience in FINAL FANTASY XIV: A Realm Reborn, Worlds have been redistributed across newly established regional data centers as outlined below.

Characters from Version 1.0 will be automatically transferred to new Worlds bearing the same names as before.

World Transfers

To guarantee characters are placed in the appropriate region, we recommend submitting a World transfer application.

As the NDA will be lifted as of phase 3 of the beta test, you may freely consult with your friends in or outside the game before submitting your application.
* Players are free to transfer their characters to any region they desire.

Applicants must have characters on their FINAL FANTASY XIV service accounts.

From PDT, June 21 (Friday) to 07:59 PDT, July 15 (Monday), 2013.

At the start of beta phase 4.
