[WARNING: SPOILERS] [Coldharbour Map] Help... I'm confused and stuck...

I posted this message earlier to try to get some help.  Someone deleted it.  So I'm re-posting my help request.

I know the game is going to launch in less than a week, but when it goes live, I'll still have the same problem... I don't know how to progress.

Here's my situation:

I have leveled a character to 50 (vet 1). I have cleared the left and right sides of Coldharbour, but have not faced Molag Bal yet. According to the Groundskeeper, I should "rescue" (quest completion) as many as I can before the 'final battle.' However, every attempt to go north is blocked. The door leading north from the Hollow City which reads "The Chasm" is grayed out and won't open. Every pathing attempt to go to the north end of the map (from the East and West) has been blocked by terrain. I have done every quest I could find and completed all the public caves in both the East and West sides. But the door remains closed.

How to I go north to "rescue" more people? What quest is keeping the north door shut and where do I find it? I don't want to face Molag Bal until I have done everything I possible can to prepare for that fight.

(so its been over two weeks of playing and I still can't find how to open the door; no wiki describes it; no journal entry describes it; no help in map chat; no replies in guild chat; and no descriptions on the forums (PTS or otherwise). I don't know what to do.)

PS: And in case its not apparent, this is the only access point left remaining on my account; the Pioneer forums are gone (or at least, I can't see them anymore).  So I cannot post in there (which is where I would think a post like this belongs).

All systems are preparing for live Rohne, In the future if a post gets removed don't recreate it. That means it's flagged for admin review. I removed the PTS forums so I can get all of your accounts ready to go for live. Effective last friday the Pioneer team is done and we are moving forward with live preparations. Feel free to get in raidcall and ask those questions to the team if their around but right now we need to get ready for the live game.

I understand.  Thank you for the explanation.  I can only begin to imagine the work that's going to be getting done before pre-launch.  I am glad that there wasn't some kind of glitch with my account (that thought occurred after the second post).  I apologize for not realizing the post was removed intentionally for admin review; I checked my inbox for a notice of some kind, but not seeing anything, I wrongfully concluded that it was done arbitrarily or perhaps a glitch with my account did something.

Hope preparations for getting ready for the pre-launch go well. :)

In the meantime, can anyone answer the question?

Apparently  most of the beta testers haven't progressed that far thus not many can answer I am afraid.

Could it be that area is off limit in the beta but will be opened up at launch?  Just a thought.

Thanks for the thought, but actually, I've been "lagging behind" in the tests.  Many have progressed fully into Veteran ranks way above my "level 1".  Last month, several were talking about their Molag Bal experiences and advised me to rescue all the people before starting that 'final' battle in the story.  The problem is, it seems one third of the map is closed off; I can't follow their advice because I can't get to that area and I don't know how to get there now.  And when asking for help, I have received only silence.  I'm wondering if they stopped playing in anticipation of the pre-launch?  There hasn't been as many people on as there were last month.
