Just started out couple of questions

Hello, just purchased the game and have a couple of questions before i go to far on what I plan to do.

I see our alliance is Ebonheart Pact but I also notice the race I wanted to create Khajiit is not part of that alliance, I realize after some research I can purchase the adventure pack to be able to make that all work out but I dont want to shell out the cash right now just for that perk.

Question is does me making a Khajiit effect my ability to join the guild? pvp together or Pve together? ability to raid or group for dungeons or anything at all? would be great to know the disadvantages now before I over commit.

Hi and welcome!

The one limitation going with khajiit will give you, at this point in time, is the ability to join us on the Alliance vs Alliance side of things.

Any dungeons and PVE content is cross alliance.

As a family, we strongly believe in: "Play as you want, when you want, what you want." So don't ever feel pressure to shell out cash or change your gaming plans, unless you choose to do so.

And if you do wish to join us for some Cyrodiil fun, it is fairly easy to create a 2nd toon for that, that is EP. The only game requirement is to reach level 10 before you have access to Cyrodiil.

I encourage you to come see us on our Discord Server as well. We have ESO dedicated text and voice chat. Never a requirement to speak in voice, although always encouraged to listen in when doing group content, as it makes it easier to know what's going on and ask questions as needed.

 there are frequent deals on the "imperial edition" which allows you to be any race, the only reasons you may want to get this are; you can be EP on any race, and a few races are clearly better at stamina/majicka damage dealing, tanking, and healing (this is geared more for high end play or min/max-ing)

Right on, I think I remember it being a pain in the butt in the closed beta back 3-4 years ago that's the reason I asked because I remember it putting me off the game at the time along other things but seems they have made the changes. Days of min-max and playing hardcore progression are a bit behind me I usually dont care about that stuff but I wanted to make a nightblade as I usually have a ranger type player which the name and everything just fits khajiit perfect a little to much to ignore.

I can deal with the AvA like you said by rolling another toon just for that if desired as long as nothing else seems like its effected it wouldn't be too much of an issue.

And ty for the invite to discord I have used it a fair few times back when people were raiding for WoW and also for a couple of GW2 events but will make sure to be a little more active :)

One cool thing with ESO is that champion points (advancement post level 50) are shared across every character on the account. I have characters in all 3 factions - it works out well.

NB cats are some of the best burst dps i've seen out in PvP..  and Eiahn is right the adventure pack is on sale fairely often so you could always get it for cheap..
