Into The Horns Of The Beast

Once again our intrepid warriors ventured into the homelands of our enemy. The ones who hide behind the Black Gates of the demons. We we able to establish a strong foothold in their lands that will allow others to venture with some refuge should the tide of battle be too much in their favor. We are used to fighting and winning with odds of 2 to 1, but they often will run when their odds do not approach 3 to 1. It shows that their battle prowess is lacking as is their desire to fight in the open fields. This morning for example they attempted to take our strong hold in Bay with the like of Golems. Twice we were able to push them back without much difficulty. They attempted to build a trebuchet and that was also quickly dispatched. While they attempted to take our stronghold in bay, our allies from the homelands of our ancestors of old we able to take the Black Gate Garrison. I imagine this did not set well with their leaders! Not only did they lose their garrison but they also lost one of their flanking towers. We captured many of their supply camps in order to keep them supply challenged, so to speak. All of our intrepid band did excellent and their commander could not have been more proud of their skills. We will see what the morrow brings, but I expect our enemies will continue to try and double team our valliant bands.
