Fur Flies In The Cathedral

Gnashing teeth and jagged claws, three ferocious druids paved the way for two gnomes of the cloth to annihilate the cultist deep within the chapel. Together they decimated the rebellious order, killing countless sorcerers, wizards, chaplains, and guards. They searched every corner of every room in an effort to pluck the evil from this organization in its entirety.
Some clever investigation, and tenacious searching led to a secret chamber of the church hiding a very interesting surprise. The Scarlet Crusaders had an undead amongst their numbers. In that hidden alcove the party defeated the undead inquisitor and stole his fancy shoulderpads for the littlest gnome in the crew.
From there the group only had two formidable foes left to face. The high inquisitor and the burly manservant she kept by her side. Her ability to mind control the groups healer nearly led to disaster, fortunately another druid stepped in to save the day, and Rorik didn't fall to the injuries he sustained in battle. Instead it was the high inquisitor to fall surrounded by her fallen followers.
The hunting party escaped the chapel by the skin of their teeth, taking with them the inquisitors glorious necklace and her lapdogs shield as trophies.
