Finally A Few Good Fights

By: Kaytlin

At last our jolly band of miscreants finally found some resistance from our foes. In the two kindoms we visited we met some opposition. They we unskilled to be sure, and even outnumbered us on several occassions but our group was both efficient and resourceful in their attacks and won the day each time. The first Kingdom we visited was that of Storm Bluff Isle. Here we met little resistance at first but as their nerve and numbers grew they decided they might be able to best our force. At one point we were taking one of their towers near their garrison. Their meager band fought well, I am the first to admit. Their commander however misused his forces and we were quickly able to dispatch them to their ancestors with little effort. It was a prolonged battle and had their commander been able to marshal more forces the fight might have been closer, but not that close. After dominating Storm Bluff Isle we moved on to the Sea of Sorrows. Here there was more land and prizes for our band to take. We took the tower to the north of their garrison with out much difficulty even though they had a substantial defending force. Unfortunately for them, they knew little of seige defense for they were unable to keep us from our goal. After their tower was taken we quickly moved on to their garrison, here they managed a better defense, but again it was uncoordinated and once the outer gate was down the tide of battle quickly went down hill for them. They did manage to place several arrow cart positions to defend their inner gate, but did not provide enough support for them for it wasnt long before we broke through the inner gate and destroyed the seige equipment. AT that point their defense collapsed and they retreated to the safety of their citadel.
All of our force was focused and performed their duties well above average this day and are to be commended for their skill in battle.
