Day One

My Sisters and I left the land of Norrath in the heart of Winter. We packed what belongings we could carry on our packs and started our trek across mountains and valleys of desolation.

It was hard saying goodbye to our friends, but after the death of our Father in the War we knew that our days in Norrath would be few. Our Father had left us instructions in a letter he kept on him in the advent of his demise. We had lost our Mother at such an early age that we only had the memories from our Father of her beauty and courage. We knew as woman of our clan that we too had to be strong in this adventure we were going on.

Our Father constantly reminded us that it wasn't the destination, but the journey of our life and the people that we helped and touched along our way that would be our legacy and fortune, so with our meager belongings but fond memories we started out.

Me being the oldest of our sisters it was my responsibilty to see that we were safe in our journey and with each step we would take, I was so aware of our surroundings.

Tucked in my father's pouch was a letter to his friend Cyril Kamer, we were to seek him out in the event of his death ad we were off to locate his land called Telara.
