A New Person's View Of Raiding
By: CJ
Well there you go. My first raid. Talk about being lost and confused.
So, Mika and Namrie did a fantastic job of leading, explaining, demoing, and all with a sense of humour and terrific patience. I found the experience (apart from the lost part) very interesting. I see the mechanics needed to complete a successful raid. Concerted efforts are needed and careful planning as to how and where you go.
I must say that even with the excellent tutorship of the fellows, I still fell short of being satisfied with my own performance. However, they assured me that with time and practice, "it will come".
I hope so, because it seems to be a very challenging part of GW2.
Well, see you next time. By the way, if you do think about raiding, it would be a good idea to get a video or 2 in your experience pocket.
cheers all
