I would like to make my position on this very clear. Wildstar is a Saigdhear. It is not an official branch of Gaiscioch. As a passionate fan of the game, I look forward to its release. I feel it would be misleading for me to approach devs under the Gaiscioch banner, because we cannot commit to the level of website and event support that an official chapter has. I have attended a community meeting so far as a rep for our Saigdhear, but that is about all that has come up.
The eldership have been very very clear as to what a Saigdhear is, and what constitutes an official chapter. We discuss this stuff in detail at our monthly meetings. So although Fog has overall say, we do spend a lot of time planning, discussing and researching into possibilities. If we find a chapter we are interested in, we enlist the help of a variety of testers who assess the game over time. They feedback and we complete the matrix. If the title "passes" we launch it officially. See below link:

This has been explained in numerous posts and I think largely the confusion and questions arise when members simply don't read our previous explanations and discussions, and demand we launch into whichever game they are keen on at the time.
The website is pretty huge, and it is understandable that sometimes info gets missed. For that reason we have the Saigdhear section which explains what a Saigdhear is. Fog also recently posted in the 'ask the elders' section of the forums as to how we decide on chapters (link above). There is a ton of info there if you want to read it.
Gaiscioch cannot be all things to all players. We cannot "play all the things".
This would seriously dilute our brand and our focus and would result in chaos and unrest amongst our members. We would do many things half-assed and not really be good at any of them.
I think we have reached a nice compromise with Saigdhear in that we have not become a mega syndicate guild, but still facilitate titles other than our main chapter. The link below explains what a Saigdhear is.

It sometimes amazes me that people either forget or fail to recognise the ridiculous amount of work that goes into an organisation of this size. Just maintaining the website alone takes so much time. Then there is the networking, relationship building with devs, communication with members, raidcall, charity, community/server events and let's not forget the leaders actually playing and leading in the games!!!
Please remember this is not a full-time job for any of us. Many of us have sucessful careers and families to look after. I am sorry that we cannot be a mega guild in every game for those who want us to be...but that will never happen because real life is always our priority.
The whole concept behind the family is that it is a gaming community where you can come and go as you please into any game or other guild, but you still retain that core sense of community in our main games and side projects. We are not hardcore, we are an alternative to that whole lifestealing ethos where people get kicked from the guild for not attending 5 raid or pvp nights.
We give players a choice, they may take us or leave us. We will not always keep every one of our thousands of members enthralled by our choices at any given time. But we do try to please the majority and build a cool community at the same time. You are free to play Wildstar in a hardcore 'official' guild if that fulfills your needs for that game...nobody minds that in the slightest, in fact I encourage you to play how you want to play.
I will be leading Wildstar as a Saigdhear guild, which people can join or not join depending on their level of interest. I plan to have some organised events, but not to the extent of GW2. Most will be encouraging leaders to step up and lead when they have time. Other than that having fun gaming, whilst fulfilling your real life obligations will be our main aim. This is all explained in the Wildstar section of the Saigdhear forums. Link below.

I hope that clarifies our position. This will be the last time I engage in it, because quite frankly, I am busy looking forward, researching and planning for FFXIV and Wildstar games. I am getting tired of justifying our position to a small vocal minority, so instead prefer to get on with more productive pursuits. Please acquaint yourselves with the Saigdhear forums and what our aims are.
Feel free to post info in the Wildstar section of these forums. I invite you to come up with ideas, discuss the game as much as we are allowed to, and get to know other players. If anyone who has posted in this thread, or any other member would like to be involved in leading pvp, pve or crafting events in Wildstar, please let me know and I will be happy to work with you.
I look forward to meeting you all and discussing the game once the NDA lifts. Until then, I will be found in the FFXIV section of raidcall, should anyone need to discuss anything :)
