I was just curious. Hadn't seen a post here for a while. I myself am still playing and to be honest I'm still having a blast playing. Though my play time has been knocked back to casual at best. Summers here and I'm out and about most of the time.

I don't know where you have been but we have large and succesful guild events multiple times a day every day =/
Oh I had no idea. Last I had heard it was just a few people "maybe" getting together once and a while to go bug hunting. Where is all this posted?
I think Old man wants to know about Defiance, not GW2. I wasn't aware many of the family were playing that?
Not sure, quite a few were, but folks are split between platforms, for example I play it on PS3. Its a fun game, I enjoy it a lot when I do play, but because the consoles = can't play together, its "meh" to find a reason to log in and play. I worry that ESO will have a similar fate now that they've decided to go multi-platform, but we'll see I guess.
I play on xbox still. Enjoy it :)
So Lightwolf was refurring to GW2 and not Defiance? Damn I was actually really hoping that the family was big time into Defiance. I could easily see daily guild events in the game.
@ Sekkerhund. Yeah, kind of wondering how multi-platform is going to effect ESO as well.
Yeah i was talking GW2 sry about the confusion there ^^ i should have known that was not what u meant haha
I still play but i'm still away in Real Life Limbo. it sucks
As far as ESO goes - I'm pretty sure Fog has stated that the family will be on PC (last I looked we had 240+ interested), therefore I fear that any family members that go into another platform will be on their own. I really prefer MMO's to be on the PC - things just work better - imho.
PS - I wanted to play but after all the bad reviews I read/saw, I had second thoughts.
Yea, if there is an ESO chapter, it will be on PC. His post is around here somewhere, I think in the thread about ESO going multi-platform.
Morigana: PS - I wanted to play but after all the bad reviews I read/saw, I had second thoughts.
For Defiance? If so, I enjoy it on the PS3, I think its rather fun. I can't speak for the PC version, but I think a lot of the negative comments and reviews are for the PC version.
The only reason I don't play it much is because I have to share the TV with girlfriend and her kid and they hog it all day, so at night is when I have my window, but by then I'm online with GW2 or something else because that's my "quiet time". :)
Yep - for Defiance... the thing is I really like the TV show so I want to play the game. I'm still sitting on the fence but I might give it a try just because I do get bored around midnight when I have watched all of my TV programs and have played too many hours on the PC.
I recommend Defiance on a console. Its designed for it and is why I think I really like it. I should note that I'm not relaly a console game fan and it often takes me about an hour to train my brain to use the controller, so for me to say that I like and prefer Defiance on the PS3 is unusual. :D
I think defiance rocks on the xbox. The only thing I would say is a bit of a pain is the chat interface and some of the menus are not as easy as I would like.
I picked it up on the Steam Sale so you'll find me occasionally wandering around there.
I enjoyed the 72 hour free trial on PC, so I figured for $9.99 you can't go wrong(plus, I feel kind of sorry for the Trion team.) I'll be stomping around SF periodically as either Thuddan Bluhndr(Human) or Bluhndahr(Irath), feel free to give me a yell. I may not respond at once, because I haven't used the chat system at all and I still need see it's peculiarities (and I don't pay a whole lot of attention to anything other than what I'm shooting at the moment, heh.)
