So the first module has fomorian in it. This will be wonderful for me as my act 3 and 4 are almost exclusively a war against the fomorian by the tuatha. New character models will be nice so I dont have to reskin every npc.
Um... nah no ty. They get an actual customer service and I might consider progressing enough to want to do this. Until then not worth my time.
Yay for endgame pve, they actually put it in the game! (I am looking at you, Arenanet)
Yea, but ArenaNet said they would not have any "endgame" PVE content. Its not like people should be surprised there's not any or they are trying their best to avoid being pressured into it.
Not sure how endgame will work with the loose trinity they are using in Neverwinter. Anyone able to shed light on level 60 tanking and healing? I'm still levelling at the moment so I haven't really seen how threat and healing work after level 30 and they are pretty poor at lower levels. @Sekker, ANet said a lot of things pre-launch that they changed (No vertical gear progression/Ascended debate), we were hoping that they were going to add it at some stage. Not a fan of GW2 pve tbh. Great PvP and solo content though. It just doesn't mKe sense that they are fine with multiple group content for temples and WvW but not dungeons.
Its possible, but I just don't see it happening. ArenaNet made GW1 work for all of these years with only 20 levels and standalone expansions. I'm pretty sure that they know what they're doing at this point, and AFAICT... they're raking in the Gem store bucks, so I can't see them getting desperate for subscrip... oh wait. ;) I agree with Fog, the Guild Challenges and Puzzles will be the closest thing we'll get for "raids" content. I honestly just can not see raid dungeons fitting into this game. I could be grossly wrong, but I'm willing to go out on a limb and say that it will not happen. Just to back that up a little more, IF... and I mean "if", Anet was to toss in some instanced raid "dungeons", it would change the dynamic of the game. It would move it closer to the standardized MMO model, aka "WoW clone" and as you can tell from their content updates, they don't want to go in that direction... they want to move forward and be ground-breaking, not just a cut-above the rest, but a cut-APART from the rest.
I just hope they maintain the game.. they do need customer service or Neverwinter will be doomed. For those that haven't tried it yet and are thinking about Elder Scrolls Online, its a good taste of how ESO combat brings the action element to MMOs.
We'll see what happens .....So far NW is enjoyable.
I'm enjoying the game. I needed a change of scenery for my solo to small group pve.
I have not tried the PvP because I'm not overly into small group fighting though I did do some on GW2, but Warhammer did not help me like this kind of setup. ::chuckles::
It will be interesting to try out the end game stuff since I have a L60 and might have two by the 20th. ;)
Elth, I found that 5 man dungeons can be bad without a cleric and the right match of DPS with a tank. It is looser, but if you do have a combo of the five classes it goes WAY better. Of course, Mad Dragon, well he is one NASTY, MAD dragon so even with a good group at level he will gobble you up eagerly for a good morsel and just as soon spit you out because you are not tasty enough.

Elth, Tanking and healing mechanics are getting a major balance overhaul before the game goes live so at this point no one knows how that will play out. I assume it means Guardian Fighters will be able to tank better and groups won't be forced to always bring two clerics to end game dungeons.
I liked the Mad Dragon when I did it on the beta weekends, I think I only beat him 1 out of 3 attempts, with pugs of course. That's good that tanking and healing are getting an overhaul, I think with the style of game neverwinter is going with, a solid trinity set up would really enhance the game. The new Guild Wars 2 mini-Dungeon on lost shores is brilliant too. I really loved the minefield, with the patrolling spiders and invul boss, that's some quality challenge right there.
