Just show up and claim attendance afterwards.
I am really excited as well. I have PVP on mass scale before joining Gaiscioch but Spartan's WvWvW event wa my first with the family. I was very impressed and eager for more. Lol.
Me too. Had a fun, if confusing, time on Tuesday. Hopefully this time I'll have a better understanding of what's going on.... Still the great thing is even if all you do is follow the pack and help knock down doors and take out enemies it's fun and you're contributing.
That's how I figure it too, Mayhemm! I missed out on Tuesday's romp. Hopefully my friend and my girlfriend get into the guild tonight. I believe they were going to be available to join in the fun too.
It took me a few times in WvW to get used to the map layout. Stick with it and it's an Oh Emm Gee good time -- especially when running with the family. :D
Looking forward to this as well! Don't see it on the events calendar any more so I am glad to read that it is still on.

WvW is definitely a good time. At least if you're not following a group of people that experiences one smashing defeat after another.. lol. I'm definitely looking forward to being in a more structured group as opposed to a random mob all doing their own thing. Just wish I'd had more time this week to play to feel a bit more beefier than my lvl 15 currently is. Dabbled in crafting a bit last night so my Engineer has some decent armor with a couple pieces waiting for when he's 20. I was surprised that crafting was actually giving him upgrades compared to the loot drops in PvE and WvW up til that point. Kind of a refreshing change from every other game where crafting seems nearly pointless!
I was super excited too, I showed up, then crashed to desktop twice. Now I am just super bummed out :(
I wish I could have joined last night. After an extremely long time of waiting in queue, I arrived and couldn't move. someone in chat was talking about bad lag but I fear it wasn't just lag but my machine not hacking it.
How/ Where do we claim attendance?
The first night i forgot to change my video settings and I had pretty bad framerate issues. Last night after i set it to best performance it was a lot better. You'll find this setting in the video tab of the options menu. There's a drop down box in the middle you can use to select best performance (which sets everything to low basically). After you're done WvWing you can go back and select autodetect and it'll move you graphics back to what they were.
Yakama, go to the homepage http://guildwars.gaiscioch.com/ and click Participate. Then Select the checkbox next to "Foghladha's Gaiscioch Trinity Night". There's a video to walk you through the process.

Fogladha, I only marked the sub-events in which I participated (which means that, while I was online by the time you took the keep, I didn't participate in its defense, because I was trapped in the starting area by invaders with others). That's how it should be done, I suppose?
Wolfox, this is taken from the participation page: "Please note that you may mark participation for all objectives that took place while you participated in an event. If you were not at the castle when it fell because you were helping secure a battlefield objective, you get credit for capturing the keep as well. While all troops may not be on the front lines, all troops contribute to the overall success of the battle. Please also take time to award your leaders that you felt did a wonderful job a Token of Valor."
Thanks, Mayhemm, I don't remember reading that, but it's good to know. I appreciate it!
Had an awesome time, and was very sleepy this morning heading into work. Thanks Fog and everyone else! I noticed there were a few objectives listed before the hour mark. I think I was still in queue when those happened so I didn't mark myself for them. Glad I checked out the tutorial because when I first saw the list I was like, "How the heck do I know which ones I was in on??" ;)
