Hey guys, I just had a noobish question. Is there a faster way to report the gold spammers than going through the help menu etc? Also, this is sad, how do you copy and past the spammer's name? I really hope that they add the functionality to just right click the name to report them. I had to shut off the /yell in the chat channel and now I'm getting bombarded with personal tell's. It's irritating lol.
To copy and paste I right clicked on the chat box and dragged until what I needed was highlighted. I also put the "Block" ability on my hotbar so as soon as I got a whisper I could report and then ignore the name.
I was getting about 1 new whisper per hour of playtime.
When dealing with channel spammers, just click their name, choose Send Tell, then once you have their name in the box, replace the "/tell" with "/blist add" so that it looks like "/blist add Spammer Name". That will get them out of your chat box the fastest.
As for reporting spammers... you have to go to Support Desk, choose Report Cheater, then copy and paste, fill out the info, etc. It takes some time, but I do it religiously with every new spammer, especially since most of those accounts are hacked accounts and it helps the original owners to get their accounts back.
I also do the same thing with teleport hack mining bots that I see, though sadly nothing seems to be done with them.
I'm also suspecting that some of the crafters that I see in strange, secluded areas are automated bots, but I don't understand enough about crafting, or why they choose little secluded corners, to know if I should, or what I should, report.
The correct command is /blist add "Spammer Name" the quotes are needed around the name or you get an error.

/blist add <r>
to two-click blacklist those spammers that send you tells.
Just don't put it right next to your /leave party macro... can't count how many times I've left FATE groups instead of blacklisting the spammer!
On that note, don't put the limit break icon next to the key you use to cast protect .....hnnnngggggggh!
